Thank you Sandi for sharing your memories with us. I did get to see him in Las Vegas in 1971 then again at Lake Tahoe! From everything I knew he did seem very genuine and I do wish I could have met him. You were fortunate to have had these experiences.
This has to be one of my favourite interviews, so nice and candid. A real insight into Elvis's personality from a good friend. Sandi, listening to you talking about him is the real deal , you are obviously as genuine too. Great work here and loved it when you said you enjoy Elvis movies!
Sandi is a real sweet lady and very dedicated to Elvis. She took alot of the photos that we see. If it weren't for her we wouldn't have that many to see. She was one lucky lady to have become friends with Elvis.
This is the second time hearing Sandi talk Elvis. Firstly, thank you for the awesome candid photos you provided! They are priceless. It sounds like you don't have plans to put together a photo book of your pictures, but let me say, I'd be the first one in line to buy it. There are some great stories to go along with them, like "the fluke photo". LOVE the "smile for the camera" photo. What a cutie he was! It warms my heart to hear Elvis would take time with the fans, ask their names...and remember them! It's always interesting to me to hear where Elvis fans were when they heard Elvis died. Your story gave me chills. I can't even imagine the chaos at Graceland that sad, sad day. Thanks for the interview, and pictures, Sandi! And psst...please think about doing a photo album! We fans would love it!
Can't thank you enough for this Sandy, what life time memories you have of him love all the pics. love what you said "because he was geniune and unique" so true
Awesome having all those memories, wonderful pictures too! How very lucky for you Sandi, so jealous. My mom and I saw all his movies, my mom loved him cuz he was good to his mother, hahaha. Through her I became a fan also, hope she has met him up there!!!
Hi Sandy, do you remember me. Renee Kleindienst. I brought Vernon a bust of Elvis I painted. It was when Vernon was ill after Elvis's death. You were Vernon's nurse.
I do not think that 9:01 same Sandi Miller. Vernon and wife former Mrs.stanley - had left. Vernon hired a nurse Sandy Miller that he became close to. The planned marriage but he died first. Check the history.
Sandy California gate girl Miller/ moved to Las Vegas. She had married had children I think.? She did interview of the tourquoise rings she got. From Elvis.
