Interview with Songwriters Michele Brourman & Amanda McBroom - The Tammy Tuckey Show 

Another wonderful show!

That was a lovely interview. I enjoyed hearing Michele and Amanda's stories and they definitely seemed happy to talk for hours and hours. The concept of the direct to video animated film based on an existing franchise is certainly not what it used to be at least from what I can see as outside of DC Animation and Scooby-Doo putting out direct to video animated films there doesn't seem to be many other people doing this. It's always interesting to hear these kind of films be covered as they aren't as well documented as a big budget animated film and usually when they are talked about people either complain about their quality or the marketing behind them. It's like anything I suppose there are good examples and bad examples and I think the good examples still hold up and that's why they have a legacy and fanbase of their own and it's great now we can hear interviews from people who worked on those films. It's probably not easy to follow up a big box office success and come up with new material and not feel like you're repeating yourself. I can tell Amanda and Michele loved doing this and are very proud and passionate about their work and being apart of these films and again it's always a joy to see people reminisce in these interviews and tell their story because it is important. Anyway I think that's it for now but knowing me I've forgotten some stuff. Great job on the interview again and Happy International Women's Day. Looking forward to the next interview.
