the last scene made me laugh so much the way they came in holding hands😭😭 2 immortal incredibly powerful beings had to join forces to be able to face some old guy who has been bullying them relentlessly for a week. and the old guy is still winning
They broke the old man's heart in episode 2 and Armand actually had the audacity to feel bad. IDK whether to hate him or smack him. Mostly because Daniel making fun of them was funny. I fear our boy won't be making any jokes no more.
Armand's face when Daniel interrupts his lofty "Members of my Coven had sensed..." They are both my faves and I am so looking forward to Daniel learning the full 70s tea!!
I love older Daniel. He doesn't GAF. He knows he's going to die so he says what he thinks out loud. I'm here for it. He is shady and condescending. It's hilarious.
@@rachreid8746 I hope so. They have already mentioned his health several times so I wonder if they are gonna go in the direction of the book for those two or are they gonna rewrite it like they have a lot of this so far. Sorry trying to put this in a way so people who have not read the books or doesn't want a plot spoiler could still read it.
@@audrab27 what I want to know is.. will Louis be the little pyro he is the in books? I love that Louis thinks burning a building is how you fix issues lol. He does this at least 3 times.
He's my favorite in the books and the show. I loved him since the first book and was so happy he was in QotD. Although the book version is of course young and naive, he still has that sass.
I didn't even read the books and I know its best change they made from the source material and that's saying something as they've made some inspiring changes
That's what I thought when I saw the trailer for the new season and Louis gave that feisty "Yeah" to Daniel. I thought, "Is Louis being a cheeky bitch this season?" 😂😂
@@lil_tari well in the books Danny is referred to as “The beautiful Boy” …. I won’t give anything else away just know that Armand & Daniel have history & that by seasons end the dynamics between Armand and Danny will be very different I would guess probably when they go back to 1977 things will begin to become very clear as to why Armand is the way he is right now and why especially Daniel seems to have this deep pull to argue with him and engage with him. Don’t you find it funny Daniel couldn’t remember meeting Armand, that’s not by coincidence When they announced the casting of Danny I originally didn’t like it but I hadn’t any context as to where they were starting off the story but now that season 1 has played out and seeing how he is unmarried, and has no connection to his children things began to make sense and how they are positioning Louis memories may have been altered
@@lil_tari Daniel is most referenced in Book 1 interview with the Vampire , Armand The vampire and QUeen of the Damned but he has a huge important Role and is pivotal
But you know, if Real Rashid is the Rashid from the books, he's ALSO a vampire. Much more ancient than Armand himself. Almost as old as Jesus Christ. Which could explain why Armand couldn't discover him.
Hearing Daniel bickering with Armand just made this episode 10x better. These two are hilarious and I hope to see them bickering on in future episodes.
I don't watch the show, and I don't even care for vampires, but the gifs and memes of these two from the s2 premiere now have my attention. 😂 I kind of want to watch it just for these two constantly snarking at each other.
So I've watched the first ep of S2. 😂 I started with a quick supercut of some scenes with Armand for context, but the rest of the story works quite well as a dump in the middle of the action mystery. I really could watch this just for Armand and Daniel. Still not a fan of vampires in general, but Louis and Claudia are cute traveling together when they aren't snacking on people, lol. Love a good unreliable narrator story though!
What??? He’s like the best part of the interview scenes! It’s so much better that he’s older. He gives a real lived perspective of what bs eternal life would be.
The fact that you used wwdits, a show about vampires making a documentary, for materials for the reactions to iwtv, a show about vampires making interviews 😆 the fact that I love both shows 😆
I am so glad someone recorded and posted these moments of Armand and Daniel.😂😂😂❤❤❤ Armand stare is making me blush. He is too gorgeous. Assad is really perfect version of Armand. He gave me feelings like Armand did in the books, but the difference, I can fangirl over him, unlike in the books where I am very uncomfortable, because he is a teen (though in vampire years he is effin old). I can't wait for episode 2, I want more of Armand, and him and Daniel are bickering with each other. These two are my favorite "couple" in QOTD book, I love them.❤❤❤❤
very big big spoiler for s1 in season1, Armand didn’t presented himself as the vampire Armand, but one of the staffs that work for Louis: Rashid. After he did reveal himself, in season2 we got to know that ‘Rashid’ wasn’t a made-up character by Armand but rather an actual person who serves both Louis and Armand. When Daniel realized this, he then proceeded to continue call Rashid the human ‘real Rashid’
I don't understand why they changed the story so much. Daniel should have become a vampire at a young age, Armand should have fallen in love with Daniel and made him a vampire. Why are Louis and Armand lovers? Louis should have loved Lestat more. (Although Lestat loved Louis more in the books, he would never hit Louis, for example) There's probably a purpose to these changes, but I don't see how they contribute to the flow of the story. (Sorry google translate🤗)
I think Armand has manipulated Louis into thinking Lestat was more abusive than he actually was. This is why he’s so insistent on hovering throughout the interview, because he’s worried Daniel is going to poke holes in everything. I presume Armand will be exposed, Louis will go to find Lestat, and Daniel will either die of old age or more likely be turned by Armand.
@@shamnamehere213 People who have read the books want to see the stories there. Yes, sometimes the story can change. But the fact that it has changed so much makes us, the readers, sad. If it wasn't suitable for the script, they should have shot the series as another vampire story. because if you changed the names we could watch it as any story.
