I think you mean Santino (the vampire who set Marius on fire back when Armand was still human). The vampire in Blood and Gold right? I think Thorne killed him or something during Queen of the Damned I used to confuse Santiago and Santino a lot until I realised that Santino was the leader of the original Children of Satan and he kidnapped and tortured Armand. Then Santiago only came during the time of the theatre maybe after Lestat had already lost Nicki and left for America

They actually explained that in the show. The mortals think it’s fake, so it’s okay. They aren’t telling them they are vampires. They are PRETENDING to PLAY vampires on stage. When the mortals leave, they won’t actually know they witnessed true vampires because they convened themselves that it’s all fake. They even say it at the beginning of this episode when the trial began.

Keep an eye on that dress! If the series takes the scene from the books it will be a heart breaking moment. That dress and Lestat. I think it will happen. Lestat was about to cry during the last scene where we saw Lestat. Yes he wanted vengeance for his attempted murder, but he loved her as much as he despised her

I really wonder what the significance of that was....knowing Santiago, he'd go as far putting the dress on a dog and naming it Claudia, who knows😓

I didn't think I would like the actor who plays Lestat, but I have to admit he is an Awesome actor. I felt all of Lestat's emotions.

Armand is super evil he has manipulated Not only Louis, Daniel everyone just to have Louis under his control! He is 100 x worse than Lestat I rather have Lestat 10 times than Armand. The problem with Lestat was he was A Bad Teacher! He acted like an a-hole to volatile he let his fears of losing Louis and being alone it took the best of him.

It's even worse when you understand that even after this point, Louis is still in denial about their relationship that he even coerced a witch/vampire to contact her, only to be told to literally F off💀💀 Claudia can't even enjoy death without Louis pestering her😂

Yup and Claudia was just a 5 yrs old child not a teenage. However Armand has always been sneaky.

That’s only because Anne Rice decided after the fact, that Lestat was her main boy and so his word is law. But we’re not in them books no more we’re getting more deeper and making Louis more fleshed out and so Lestat isn’t the benevolent voice no more. In fact he can’t be especially if you’re playing with the theme of memory as a monster and perspective the way the show is doing. And you can’t rightfully engage in such themes if you’re then presenting one voice as wholly truthful because then it’s not about perspective but about truth or false. Like Lestat is just as unreliable, he’s not a robot he’s gonna come with his own biases and contradictions as the rest of them. Also we see Lestat lie is ass of plenty in the show, that man is not honest. And please don’t come with no semantics nonsense because lie of omission is still lying

@@gabriella9897 Lestat is definitely not a benevolent being however Armand isn’t either in my perspective he’s passive aggressive Leader manipulative The whole book interview with Vampire 1st book is all Louis Perspective All Louis conversations within himself of course with Daniel we can see that in the show as well is his view Louis Version we don’t see Lestat perspective nor his version of the story In book 2 The Vampire Lestat is when we finally see and know Lestat story us readers we can see his depth and understanding of why Lestat is who he is. The show is good tho 😊different but good.

There never was an actual trial nor did it play out on stage. They just abducted them by Armand’s command. Lestat had so much remorse. That little yellow dress and Lestat 😢 oh the things Armand did to poor Claudia head…

She wanted the old woman in the forest to join them before she threw herself in the fire & she wanted to join the theater with the Paris Coven. She never wanted to keep Louis to herself like Armand did. If anything she wanted them both to be happy & surrounded by love.

@@tjc8422 Did we watch the same episode? Louis and Lestat were equally as abusive. They also love each other deeply. Both are complex. Ut may be easier for me to see the big picture because I have read the series. Chris Rice is going to keep the storyline close to his heart, his mother always said Lestat was her alter ego. Armand is by far the biggest monster, yet also likable. Both Armand and Lestat were victims in their own right. It’s not a competition between Armand and Lestat, both are amazing characters. Lestat, and Louis, along with many other vampires, live together at the end of the series. Lestat’s transformation in the series is beautiful to behold

I don’t understand how someone could be describe a father abusing his daughter in such a “lol told u so” way. This whole mess started cos Lestat and Louis made her when it was unethical, and then Lestat withheld info and mistreated them and cheated on Louis.

If someone has been abusing you for literally most of your life and one day you try to leave and they say other people will hurt you more wouldn't you stop and think "well it cant be as bad as this"

She is a 14 year old afterall 😭 Louis should have known better and guided her but he’s an idiot & has codependency issues with both Armand & Lestat.

I mean she is a murderer. She murdered Antoinette and almost killed Lestat and now we know it really was for nothing but Claudia’s own selfishness. She wanted Louis to herself, just like Armand. Common thread between Armand and Claudia? They were made when they were too young, therefore they are more volatile and their emotions? Arrested development for sure.

When was she trying to outsmart them tho? She spend the whole of season 2 trying to BEFRIEND them. Hoping to find a community.

She should have listened to Louis from the jump and left the city once they saw that portrait on the wall (they already don't think she should exist but once they found out she tried to pull the wool over their eyes, these vamps threw out any sympathy they had for her.)

At the time Lestat was also goading Louis to piss him off enough to eat. Anne Rice’s vampires don’t do well eating animals. Louis via his recollection to Daniel said he understood the indulgence at the time. Lies were being told on the stage. Lestat didn’t want to be there.

Naw. Louis was ALWAYS aware of Antoinette. The 1st time Lestat made out with Antoinette, Louis was in the room. He even said : "I allowed it." Now, YES --- Lestat promised to 🛑 seeing her after Louis took him back after episode 5. BUT☝🏾, 2 be fair --- Louis was still tag-teaming Lestat emotionally with Claudia, so Lestat went back to seeing Antoinette behind Louis' back cuz she didn't emotionally withhold from him. Louis uses his love as a bargaining chip NO MATTER WHO his partner is --- even Claudia!! That's why Santiago (though he had evil intentions spoke truth in that moment) asked the audience in Lestat's defense: "If you were being emotionally neglected by your partner --- would it be wrong for you to seek comfort in someone else's arms?" And the entire audience agrees & replies: "NO!!"

My point was: Lestat USING Louis' behaviour during Claudia's absence as his reason for cheating; when he was cheating long before Claudia entered their lives. AND at the time, using the fact that he "needed a little variety from time to time" as a reason for his infidelity.

Cuz remember in episode 2 (or 3 --- I can't remember) when Lestat told Louis about his need for "variety" from time time & Louis asked Lestat 🙎🏽‍♂️: "So I can f🖕🏽ck whoever I want 🤨??" & Lestat was like: "Of course; OF COURSE 🧑🏻‍🦰😁!!(though THIS 👉🏾 was really Lestat's face 👉🏾😒within his imaginary thought bubble 💭)." So, from that point forward the relationship was opened. Louis fooled around with Jonah 👨🏿‍✈️ ONCE ☝🏾, and Lestat was very jealous, YES; BUT they never had a discussion saying the "openness" of their relationship was "closed" afterwards. Louis just CHOSE not to take advantage of their arrangement anymore. It wasn't til after Louis took Lestat's a$$ back after Lestat dropped him the 7th Heaven 🌌 that CLAUDIA demanded Lestat kyll 🗡️ Antoinette as 1 of the conditions of she & Louis taking him back. After THAT point, it was considered cheating. Looking back now, I think 1 of the reasons there was so much contention between the 2 of them over Louis refusing to "hunt human" most of their relationship was not only cuz it made Lestat feel Louis was ashamed of his vampiric nature, and by extension, Lestat himself, BUT ALSO because only ingesting inferior animal 🐀🐈‍⬛🕊️ 🩸 weakened Louis ' libido ❌😛🍆 & further crippled their sexxx life as it was already severely injured by Louis constant bouts of depression. Remember how Louis said in the episode where Lestat 1st met Antoinette & they were about to have sex in front of Louis, that Louis said (to the Daniel/the audience) that, once again, he ALLOWED it to happen cuz his "desire" has been low because the animal blood wasn't, in so many words, "high octane ⛽" enough to keep his hormones where they should be? Granted, on a level, I agree that if Lestat said he wasn't gonna cheat after Louis took him back that he should have honored that. Simultaneously, if Louis knew he was gonna half-heartedly have sex with Lestat --- ON TOP OF THE STRESS OF CLAUDIA CONSTANTLY "COMING FOR HIM," & Louis doing the "bare minimum" of putting his 🦶🏾 down on the matter, he knew it was gonna drive Lestat to do SOMETHING reckless. Yes, I know he asked Claudia to try to get along with Lestat after he returned, but I honestly think he was soft -shoeing it with her. I think on a level, in TRUE LOUIS FASHION, he wanted to look like the victim will being a sideline perpetrator at the same time ---- just like Armand in Season 2. Louis still let Claudia get certain "digs" in at Lestat cuz truthfully, they were angry words HE still wanted to express to Lestat, but since he already claimed he was gonna "let the past be the past" when he took Lestat back, he could no longer express the anger he hadn't fully released. But Ms. Claudia NEVER agreed to let the past be the past & only agreed to "endure (at the barest minimum)" Lestat's presence in their lives, so she was free to take "shots"🙅🏼‍♂️💥 🔫 at Lestat without being held to the standard of "forgiveness" Louis was bound to. SO she was in effect, his unofficial, indirect mouthpiece 🗣️📣.

Plus he literally did tell him she was too young in season 1.

He let them (Claudia and Lestat) take lead. Whatever they wanted to do he went along with it. Even with the little protest but still did it. Didn’t like the coven of vampires at the theater but went back because she wanted to.

Armand saved no one. He master minded the entire thing. He was done with the coven. So he had the coven take out Claudia. Now he will allow Louis to take out the coven.

It did. Lestat was Anne Rices self proclaimed alter ego. In the books you can follow his journey to becoming a moral monster. He finds an orphaned 5 year old child, adopts her and raises her. Gets her Nannie’s, sends her to the best schools, Rose was her name. She eventually marries Lestat’s biological son! (You heard me right) 😂 truly an epic book

She wasn't real at all. The actress said her last look at Lestat was her begging to be saved.
