@@BG-sq7zf You can use whatever you want, whenever you want. There should be no hard-and-fast rules when it comes to fragrance. Do whatever makes you happiest :) Rx
He's absolutely right about fragrance taking you on a journey filled with memories. I really enjoy hearing his views of fragrance. I truly appreciate you giving us this interview!!
Darn it! You’re going to make my blind buy something! 🤦🏾♀️ The 1st 56 seconds, I completely agree! I care much more about my perfume than the clothes I wear. You can experience the scent without looking. It’s my backdrop and enhancer everyday.
Amazing video, thanks for doing this. I would never want to disagree with Roja, but I see virtually no similarity between Scandal and Aventus, so that was interesting.
Great interview. Sebastian thank you... I'm getting a scent from Roja's amazing shirt. The heritage fragrance collection needs my attention, he's got my ears pricked. Looking forward to these hair perfume. Fantastic video again Sebastian, thank you
I might be late watching your 2 interview but I love how you handle the interview, you let Roja Dove tell his story and he really looks comfortable and excited to share his wisdom and experience without interrupting him with little questions like other interviewers do. Also love how knowledgeable and appreciative of the scent which makes Roja more than happy to see the genuine reaction of yours.
I asked a question on ur first interview with Roja....but you completely forgot to present to him this time but still you insist to put a comment on this video....that was a genuine question my friend
This is the equivalent of going to a fine restaurant and having a master sommelier come out and explain to you what you’ll be tasting and experiencing, just perfect.
Just to listen and to watch Sir Roja Dove in action is mesmerizing. The Sophistication and the Elegance Sir Roja have. Tha Aura. And I do appreciate Mr Sebastian just kinda listening while Roja do his thing. These two gentlemen are truly a work of art.
I like that he was willing to take the time (3 years) to formulate a long-wearing product for the market for hair mist instead of just jumping on the bandwagon and releasing only a so-so hair mist. I find that many fragrance companies jump on the bandwagons so quickly that they often release mediocre products because they don't give themselves the time to develop a truly great product. It takes time to develop a really great product. Kudos to Roja to be willing to put that time and effort into his products. You can also tell that he is truly passionate about his work. He truly loves fragrance. Whether someone likes Roja perfumes or not, it is always great to see someone who truly loves what they are doing.
Thank you Sebastian for a great interview and to Mr. Dove for availing himself and being such a good sport. He is so inspiring and I'm only sad that his creations are beyond my budget. I've had the pleasure of getting a little sample of Creation-E which I loved
The Roja website sells all the fragrances in 7.5 ml bottles-more than enough if you have a large collection. Just picked up Haute Luxe in the 7.5 ml size for £195, and you get another free 7.5 ml EDP free.
Whats with the hat? Im just curious, because you have it on 90% of the time , but you really don't need it. You look a lot smarter and more professional with it off. Love the channel and your content though. Keep it up!
I love how calm and wholesome roja is as a person, it makes you think of him as just another passionate perfume lover and sometimes forget how big he truly is in the market.
Sebastian.. Great interview! I am in Asian. I am really new in perfumes, I start to pick up and learn. There are many many people recommend ROJA while they really enjoy fragrance for years. Hope Mr. Roja Dove will find business opportunities over the world and have the shop opened in Asian so all the perfume lovers may have a chance to try. 😬
Sebastian, you're very lucky to have gotten an interview with such a fragrance personality as Roja Dove. I really enjoyed it. Although I don't own any Roja fragrances yet, I am close to buying Roja's "Lily". It caught my nose and convinced me that I need to add a Lily based scent to my fragrance wardrobe. Top-notch video Sebastian. Thanks for making this happen.
Beautiful video , and I'm also wearing Elysium Pour Homme , regular version. Do you know why last few days I do not get notifications when you upload new videos? I have to go to your channel every day to see if there's a new video. The bell is ticked .
Really enjoyed this conversation thanks. I also enjoyed my Parfum 51 and Britannia sample immensely. Lakme and the flower duet scented....how beautiful!❤
A great big thank you! Always the best videos and now i am really excited about the things he said. I love his work and it is so amazing that you interview him again and I love the fact that you cant stop smelling you hand!! I need to try Roja!
Thanks for the fantastic interview. So informative and interesting. I loved hearing about the thought process on the making of perfume. This made me smile 🥰
I wish I knew but I don't know these things! :( But my favorite gourmand from Roja Parfums is Sweetie Aoud: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-hACeaxKGLfM.html Have you seen my review?
Lovely interview again! I could listen to Roja speaking for days! Sampled some of his wares not too long ago and they sure are class A products but painfully expensive. (This prohibits me from getting a bottle)
Thanks for the interview with ROJA. I appreciate his work & no doubt his perfumes are awesome & everyone wants to have it, but way too expensive for such perfumes lovers who are addictive & financially weak. Can ROJA create affordable perfumes for middle-class perfume lovers?
I think if they really were overpriced then no one would be buying them and he'd be out of business make sense? So obviously they are not overpriced to a lot of people who continue to buy his fragrances! :)
@@ThePerfumeGuy I have to disagree. Fragrances are the most overpriced item. If you know that chanel sells a simple tweed jacket for 55k, fragrances are still their number one income. I have also worked as a student in a designer perfume store and we got a list with the actual prizes, sometimes the bottle is more expensive than the fragrance itself. The trick it to make people believe they really need that item or that that specific item is something very special, in that case they will pay whatever you as as long as they have the money, but at the end of the day the fragrance is still overpriced.
It’s fine you can disagree. But if they were too expensive who would be buying them that’s what I’m saying in your book they are too expensive in some peoples book they’re not expensive that’s why he keeps selling them so if they were way overpriced no one would be buying them then we would not be seeing this interview as there wouldn’t be Roja Parfums.
@@ThePerfumeGuy Well most rich people don't think about the real value of stuff. Most people don't even know the whole proces of mass-producing fragrances. Wou will always find people who are ready to pay 700 bucks for a fragrance. I mean someone who has million on his banc account, 700 are peanuts, but that doesn't mean that the fragrance isn't overpriced. You should know with 700 I went for 4 days to Iceland and once you realize the real value of stuff you ill see that some fragrances are overpriced unless you are rich and 100 bucks feel like a dollar to you.
