controversial opinions on ELRS 😅. sorry to hear you didn't have a smooth setup experience but you have to admit that there are some added bonuses over crossfire that make it worth it: smaller antennas(not just the micro ones but also full size), lower latency/higher refresh rates, easy vtx config, higher output power, etc etc not to mention the cost🤑

Hahah heck yeah 😂 Oh for sure are some bonuses, but I feel like if I was to be given ELRS vs CRSF as a beginner I'd choose CRSF in a heartbeat knowing the setup is a breeze. But for specific builds and stuff I can see the advantages

@@BrodieReed I agree to an extent but I feel like there has never been a better Time to get ELRS due to the reliable, cheap and diverse hardware, the ‘superior’ software features and the user interfaces that improve in ease of use with each new update. I understand that it can be daunting when looking at the vast number of accounts describing ELRS as complicated or “not fully developed” and I thought the same thing at one point but I have come to realise that this bad reputation is mainly due to it being much easier to post about the shortcomings of the software than it is to showcase the benefits even though the majority of people have a positive experience with the system. Given the poll results I have seen around yt and Facebook I believe that ELRS has reached such a high level of popularity which could be considered a majority of the fpv control link market. I feel like we have reached the tipping point where in most cases there is no need to buy any other control link as ELRS is superior in almost every way

If you can honestly say you can feel the difference in latency from elrs to crossfire... i just dont believe it. We need a blind experiment you have goggles you get handed controller not knowing... then again and see if the user first noticed a difference and secondly could tell which was which. Doubt it lol It doesnt matter

@@SpaghettiFPV-tg3qh yeah, would take a very experienced or observant pilot to tell the difference but it all depends on what you are used to but no matter if you can tell or not lower latency is still in theory better
