I think it's spelt wyrd. The way of the wyrd was a good book I read about a scribe that was sent to Britain to spy on and record the religious practices so the Christian missionaries could manipulate the existing beliefs to easily replace the practices of the Brits. The scribe converted to the "pagan" beliefs of the land instead.

Ganzfeld effect happens to me if I meditate long enough with closed eyes. I'm pretty sure such things are sources of most religions, cults, mystics and occultists where elements of our inner mind became angels, demons, gods and devils. And these visions are not random imo just as Jung was claiming that subconscious mind can barely produce anything random. It's a black box that does something but is so complicated that result seems random to us.
You can find multiple people on youtube, less and more accountable, that were testing Ganzfeld experiment and it was usually producing visions that are indistinguishable from reality when they are happening. Do that without knowing what you are doing and you have a chance to end up as some guru or cult leader, because you will see a burning Bush talking to you, or metatron talking to you, or holy spirit or demons/angels, or damn merkava will come and take you to the land of Oz like the "in"famous Billy Carson(check him out) that keeps "revealing ancient forbidden wisdom". Because Ganzfeld experiment is just a standardized way to achieve this state. Jung called it Active imagination, old prophets called it visions from god, shamans were contacting with spirits of their ancestors, and so on and on. It all comes from inside of our heads, and not realizing that in time ends up with production of Ancient aliens series.

When one's career depends on reliably proclaiming the "truth" of one's previously selected assumptions and routinely disregarding questions about such assumptions out of hand, such as in the case of people like Michael Shermer and James Randi, it becomes difficult to see one as a true skeptic. "Ideologue" might be a more applicable term. Or perhaps even more accurately, "businessman".
There's a pretty common psychological profile among career skeptics and the new-atheist types (and quite alot of overlap between those two pools as well); Shermer, Blackmore, Dan Barker, etc... They were originally believers in [fill in the blank] and then they underwent a crisis of faith which challenged their deeply and naively held belief system. So then they were left feeling cheated, duped, embarrassed, etc... So then they begin gravitating towards scientism as a means of disavowing their previous belief system - scientism offers the exact same dogmatism, security and ideological stability, but with the added benefit of being depicted as purely rationalistic. i.e., those former-believers come to see scientism as a way of having their fundamentalist cake and eating it too. They get to have all the security and stability of a fundamentalist worldview, but - seemingly - without the danger of believing something without evidence that might prove to be incorrect. Their unconscious will-to-religiosity goes behind the curtain, puts on a new hat and fake mustache, and comes back around the other side, with the "skeptics" being none the wiser about the fact that they have not in fact managed to escape their own unconscious shadow-materials.

I don't think that's entirely fair. There were experiments where you could prove it. None of them had conclusive results. If parapsychology is real we have such a weak grasp on it that it's borderline useless. Much more worthwhile to learn coding and build robots.

@@justachannel8600 The video literally provides a number of resources and peer-reviewed meta-analyses in regards to the field of parapsychology, it also mentioned quite a lot of studies that have been independently successfully replicated such as the Gaznfeld experiments or SRI internacional/standford experiments on remote viewing and the Stargate CIA programs yielding excellent results for espionage or rescuing of missing individuals. It stands to reason that parapsychology is a well established field in science, has successfully replicated much of what it aims to study, produced a variety of solid, statistically significant results once one combines the data produced by many independent teams and has the potential to be applied in a variety of fields as it has been demonstrated by Stargate. Your comment makes it clear you haven´t bothered to watch the video nor to read through the resources by the description.

Telepathy must also be understood as a synchronistic phenomenon, though what happens here is the duplication of a psychic content - which appears both in the sender and in the receiver -rather than the parallelism of a psychic and a physical event. Synchronicity as an "acausal connecting principle". Jung believed that synchronicity occurs when a strong need or a deep archetypal excitation arises in the psyche of an individual. The main difficulty with synchronicity (and also with ESP) is that one thinks of it as being produced by the subject, while I think it is rather in the nature of objective events. Although ESP is a gift of certain individuals and seems to depend upon an emotional perception, the picture it produces is that of an objective fact. This truth becomes highly problematical in the case of precognition, where a fact is perceived that apparently does not exist. As one cannot perceive a fact that does not exist, we must assume that it has some form of existence, so that it can be perceived nevertheless. To explain it we must assume that the (future) objective fact is paralleled by a similar or identical subjective, i.e., psychic, already existing arrangement which cannot be explained as an anticipatory causal effect. But it is quite possible and, as a matter of fact, you have shown it to be possible, that the subjective parallelism can be perceived as if it were the future fact itself. The harmonia praestabilita would be in this case the obvious explanation. I think that all forms of ESP (telepathy, precognition, etc.) including PK have essentially the same underlying principle, viz. the identity of a subjective and an objective arrangement coinciding in time (hence the term “synchronicity” ) .
I gather from the book The Trickster and the Paranormal that we unconsciously/instinctively have a tendency to reject these paradigm threatening subjects - at least at the collective level - because of the liminality they introduce to current structures and the stability they represent.

You could have simply opined that Science is "unfair"... instead you illustrate its recent history, allowing for the more nuanced conclusion that Science is in fact a multi-polar, only agreeing broadly on scientific aims rather than conclusions and that Parapsychology is properly understood as a core part of that epistemology.

Thanks for another great video. The part where you just read transcripts of video clips and artwork received as transmissions was weirdly really moving and calming.. I feel like I could just watch those for hours and be totally absorbed. How many transcripts like that are in the public domain? Someone should make a video of just that. Also it's interesting I find myself coming back to wikipedia again and again for these pages on "parapsychology" "remote viewing" etc.. they all come off like hit pieces, but if you look to the "talk" pages the debates there are very telling on how unresolved these designations are drawn. It seems like wikipedia has become the sacred scriptures for mechanistic scientism and its acolytes zealously defend it.
Yeah and some of the information on those pages is just blatantly incorrect. On the wikipedia page for J B Rhine, for example, it says that after he adjusted his experiments due to skeptic complaints, he stopped getting positive results, which is just factually incorrect, first of all. And then it also claims that the receivers were (I shit you not), seeing the reflections of the zener cards in the fovea of the sender's eyes, which - you would think - would need to actually be demonstrated, but also probably isn't an explanation that really works considering that many of Rhine's experiments separated the sender and receiver by miles in order to determine whether distance was a factor or not. So yes. Those articles are factually incorrect hit-pieces. Regarding the transcripts, if you go to the psi-encyclopedia and look at the citations for the transcripts they include, there's links to more.
This is brilliantly written and edited! (Speaking as one who's quite familiar with the psi research field.) Perhaps worth addressing in a future work is the fact that essentially all Wikipedia pages re psi and other controversial topics (e.g. UAP/NHI) have been captured by an organization of dogmatic skeptics. This group violates Wikipedia's rules in order to retain absolute control over these pages. Their efforts have been brought to light recently by Rob Heatherly.

My educational background is in I/O Psychology, and while not related to Parapsychology, I follow this field in my personal life, having a deep interest in the topic since I was a wee lad (1970s). The military in the late 1940's experimented in making twins at the various stages of separation. It was done at Norfolk naval base. They monitored and tested them periodically afterwards.

There seems to be a funny sort of irony in the quotes by skeptics, saying that there must be some sort of unseen variable that we cant detect that proves them right. Almost like they're saying that unseen variables that we cant understand the mechanisms behind truly exist.

Meditation is what really helps wake up intuition, my family has always been able to tell the future a bit before it happens. I always had dreams about simple things that would happen to me, like talking to someone or sitting at my desk. I’ve come to the conclusion recently that it’s a marker for when I’m becoming a better, more vibrational, version of myself! It’s super cool! I just don’t care to dive into it because when I do I connect to human consciousness and for me the only thing I see is images of erotica! 😮

Another banger of a presentation. You have the work ethic to match your smarts. This content is truly among the best out there. Over the years, throughout my own reading and exploring this topic, my biggest question, and sometimes most disappointing feelings about all of these phenomena is just how much and to what degree these parapsychological abilities could ever hope to affect and interact with the world, and ourselves. Rather, how limited they seem to be, as of yet. To me, i feel like it is the most cruel taunting and teasing at things that could be, that should be, and that would have wondrous power and scope, but in practice appear so minuscule, erratic, and apparently have little bearing on our lives, but yet most definitely do STILL EXIST. Some force is within our grasp , is part of the nature of reality. That something, whatever it is.. why does it tend to hide and remain so elusive to us ? What is the reason for why an RNG machine can be affected, but just BARELY, just enough to be significant. Why can't we ever get some clear display of steady ability from anyone that could hit a 90 percent or higher success rate in a guessing game or telepathic study if that is a possibility, something to permanently shut the mouths of all the 'skeptics'?
As I suggested in the video, I don't think these effects are miniscule at all. They play omnipresent and crucial roles throughout nature at all scales and organizational levels. What is miniscule is our present ability to actively and voluntarily manifest these effects. Most people also have very little ability to control their own heart-rates unless they are professional athletes who have dedicated enormous effort towards developing biofeedback capabilities. The development of such a capability takes a process which is almost entirely somatic and subconscious, and begins to incorporate it into the human self and its voluntary agency. We can also do this with parapsychological effects to a comparable degree, but these are capacities which humanity is still in the process of reclaiming, after having largely lost such capabilities through the development of the human ego. The ego still has quite a bit of evolving to do before it is going to be able to do what was once possible in the pre-egoic phases of our evolution. [this is also why parapsychological phenomena seem to be significantly more pronounced in non-human animals]
@Formscapes That is really what I was getting at, or poorly trying to anyway. It's not so much that nature may have some paltry limits set on such phenomena. Its that we don't yet seem to be able to manifest anything truly life changing and more readily attainable and practical with it, although I am definitely coming from a personal level with this observation. In this understanding is that the observer or experience of things is fundamentally prior to the contents of experience, that the observer and the observed arise together. This involves something that cannot be arrived at through intellectual endeavor, as the intellect, while reaching towards the reflection of truth misses its source by its very attempt to grasp. It will never grasp it as you cannot stand apart from reality in order to veiw it. The ground of being, the absolute, reality, these are what your question concerns. I assure you that any and all outward inquiries will return you back to the imminent moment, where in the one who claims awareness enough to question that which has only ever arisen in awareness. One basic belief I would have you challenge is the implicit assumption and the very notion of separation. This calls into question every last intellectual framework of category and type, all notions of other and self in relation to other, all concepts of space, time and the existence of energy in relation to void or absence of energy. In removing this assumption of separation, many things begin to click together (go figure) you will quickly find that your own story of individual history and selfhood are not "real" in the way you were perhaps presented. In fact this sense of a separate self has only ever been something projected on the back drop of your consciousness. Without someone or something to turn you inwards to examine the story teller, that gives life to the story, you are likely proceeding as though you are who you 'think' you are. This overlooks that you are not your thoughts, that you are instead aware of them. Even the notion that you are the 'thinker' of your thoughts is questionable given how much of the contents of our mind and behavior largely only adopted until otherwise informed. The conceit that all of existence can be apprehended by using the single small facet of human intelligence known as the intellect is quite frankly profoundly arrogant. Out of the philosophies born from the presumption of separation has come the assumption of that in order for something to be real it must be as a result of a separate cause from a separate source. What is real, is real, you cannot be separate from it for it encompasses all within it. We take our imminent reality, its forms and conceptions for granted as fundamentally real without much if any inquiry into the one that claims an experience of reality. Reality cannot be separate from the observer, because the one who observes is the fundamental reality that we seek to understand, like a snake examining its own tail. External manifestation is merely a reflection of our whole being, and our modes of seeking and investigating and only different ways at looking at ourselves through a facet of ourselves. Space and time are very much an extension of consciousness and with that the creation of new experiences through the medium of space and time expands the universe as a whole. Yes you are the dreamer and you are the dream, and you are the one behind all other dreams. It is not without purpose, and you were not brought to this life experience without your knowledge. Look into the teachings of Sri Ramana Maharshi for a methodology of coming into direct contact with reality. Also endeavor to pull down stories and beliefs that don't serve your good or your peace, so that not only are you not using your own power against yourself, but you will be able to see with eyes and a mind clear of cluttering and obscuring thoughts concepts. Reason still persists in its function even after it is no longer the sole arbiter of reality or possibility. You are everything you seek for, whether you are aware of it or not. Whether or not this makes sense to you or not, it will. It's useful to see your hand in order to use it, but it's even more useful to be able to feel it. Seek and inquire as your excitement wills, just do not dismiss the internal in favor of the external. Most importantly keep your attention on the one within which the sense of external and internal arises.
I listened to the last portion of this vid just before arriving on my bike at a basilica on my way to a supermarket. Ive been athiestic for a large portion of my life, despite growing up more-or-less on fundamentalist Christianity. Ive wondered for a while what it is of Christianity that makes it valuable. A few years, maybe half a decade after abandoning Christianity, I soon discovered the world still doesnt make sense even from a materialist perspective. Especially so, when my fellow materialist athiests became enamored with another metaphysics that makes even less sense than Christianity. Maybe its simply that there is power in being a part of a collective belief system. It strengthens your connection to a collective conscience. But then theres still the question of the value of a belief system. Is it better to believe that a man can become a woman by say-so or that White people are evil than to believe that Jesus died for your sins? Is believing none of it a viable option or will it simply sever my connection ever more from humanity, whatever it is or is becoming?

It is fitting that at 49 minutes we see Hyman in front of the sign for the toilet. I am not sure what Hyman's real success has been in social psychology. I suspect this was his name in lights. Kind of empty it appears
Weirdism. I wondered what would replace Religion. Weirdism seems to be a nice fit for those who reject Science, because they would actually have to study really hard to become knowledgeable about reality. And because they would have to work toward consensus instead of being able to narcissistically claim some kind of esoteric elitism for their self-taught competence in the mysteries of Weirdism.
