Yes it is - Hart-Miller Island. We did an overnight on the hook in the same spot.

We use a Mariner for our sailboat dinghy and it works great. We have a trolling motor attached to ours.

Good to know. What horsepower is your motor? How heavy is it? Thanks for the comment
@sailingkaya

@@eternitysshore Only using a trolling motor on it currently but have used a 2.5 hp on it. The motor was very fast. The trolling motor is comfortable

Very useful video. I'm getting a second hand one this week. I think the floors seem quite sturdy.

Awesome. We literally just used ours yesterday on the way back from Oxford MD! We actually almost lost it because I failed to secure it properly while we were on the hook during a thunderstorm. Thanks for watching and the comment! I hope the used one works out well for you!

Try bringing the oars handles inside the board so your wrist is inside your shoulder width. Longer oars if needed or dig les in the water

Thanks John. We’re still getting used to it. I rowed a bit last weekend. That video coming out tomorrow

Parabéns pelo vídeo! Atividades em casal fortalece o relacionamento. Faltou a pescaria! Eu tenho um Excursion 5, da Intex. Usamos uma vez em família, mas, vamos adaptar ele para pesca, amamos pescar!

Looking at buying it to use with a small motor to tour Florida canals.😃... So much cheaper than other inflatables

I hope that works out for you. We are considering doing the same thing in the future.

It is a very sturdy, very reliable boat. Also, a number of times cheaper than boats which are not significantly different, which contributes to making the Mariner a very clever choice. Rather than keep the boat on the deck, and, thus, losing the view, why not pull it behind the cruiser (at the end of a, say, ten-foot rope)? It will behave greatly under such circumstances as well. The more sophisticated approach is, of course, installing davits.

We've thought about dragging it behind us but we often are up on plane and are a little concerned about running her behind us at 26mph in 2-3 foot wake on the Chesapeake. For shorter distances it definitely makes more sense.

@@eternitysshore, I am sure you have thought this through. On the other hand, my Mariner has been dragged a few times, at several speeds, including high (not sure if they were ever as high as 26 mph, though); every time, the boat was amazingly stable on the water. But it was never empty, carrying about a hundred pounds of equipment. That is not necessarily much, but it might make the difference between the boat planing and flying or kiting.

Having weight back there would definitely help but we don’t usually have that kind of gear with us.

It says in the instructions to not pull this dinghy. I don’t recommend
