Into the Breach Advanced Edition Hard Mode Victory with Perfect 30k Score using Arachnophiles!

This is a perfect victory on Hard using the Arachnophiles and all AE content enabled. Some specifics:
30k score (no grid damage)
All objectives complete
No pilot or mech deaths
No grid resists
Arcachnophiles squad
All AE content enabled

The Arachnophiles are the first AE squad I managed a perfect victory with, and the reason is rather obvious. They are quite powerful, but in a subtle way that wouldn't make you think so at first. The key to their success is synergy, as each Mech by itself is not particularly amazing, but the ability to create spider bots and then fork a shot through them really changes things up in terms of getting a trick shot off. Even fully upgraded, their damage is so-so, and investments into additional weapons are key, as is pilot selection. A pilot with Boosting really helps, especially early on, when that +1 damage makes a lot of difference in getting the spider bot out.
The Bulk Mech has fairly low damage for a Brute, especially because the damage upgrade to it requires a massive 3 cores, but the 90-degree richochet is tremendously useful. Especially with ally immunity, it allows you to get shots around buildings that used to be impossible. Arachnoid Mech is obviously the keystone of the squad, and your focus should be on getting a Boosted pilot and the damage upgrade into it as fast as possible. I first experimented with Silica and trying double shot, but in practice it was too expensive and too situational to make work - Kai proved to be much more suitable, as the starting boost and the damage upgrade gave you a 3-damage arty that spawned a unit. Gemini Missiles were the icing on the cake, as that turn-1 boost often let me kill 2 vek with the first salvo, then focus on spider bots the rest of the map. Slide Mech is a bit weird - it is flexible in terms of movement, but it always felt outclassed compared to the rest of the squad, proof of that being Gana didn't reach max level until we were already in the hive.
The overall campaign wasn't that hard, though we did have a scary moment in Detritus along with the hive itself, where I was convinced there wasn't a way out - the latter being on the very last turn. In both cases, the flexiblity of the spider bot to open up a new path is what saved the run. Definitely prioritize the Arachnoid Mech for upgrades and give it a pilot with a good synergy. Slide Mech needs a non-passive second weapon - Gana with fully upgraded smoke bombs saved the run on two occasions, being able to cover 3 tiles in smoke at once with a leap. Bulk Mech is where you have some flexiblity - the 2nd weapon there doesn't really matter much, and I had a passive slotted for most of the run as a result, since the main gun is almost always what you'll want to be using.
