@@terrymchugh2788 Dont worry! I had that one in my mind when I made the comment. I agree with you. One of the best solos ever! It IS that good! However the HSCC channel has lost its sheen for me quite a bit since those early vids in this same basement. Ive seen them live and they were amazing (even if the sound stage wasnt), but this channel has completely replaced that one now. The vibe between Darren and the other amazingly talented musos is much better here and it shows 👍

I have to say right now. The appeal and sucess of the SINGIT LIVE RU-vid channel are the "various" musicians and singers that switch up and collaborate on great cover songs. I love the regulars, but the different talent is always so fresh, enjoyable, and darn right awesome. It's never really the same band. I absolutely love it. Thanks for all of the kind comments. I'm glad you folks didn't mind what I did on this. I took a bit of inspiration from what Stevie Ray Vaughan did on Bowie's Let's Dance. We had a lot of fun making this one, how good is Chloe!

Keyboard players watch this!!!! Notice how little he is playing with his left hand; when he is playing, it's not in the lower octaves muddying up the mix. The two guitar players and keyboard are in their own sonic space in the mix. No one is stepping on the bass player. This is playing in an ensemble vs people just playing together. The rhythm part is high on the neck, and the lead player is picking his spots for those tasty licks. The drumming is solid with nothing busy. It all sets the table for a great vocal performance. This works so well. Thank you for a great post.

As a kid born in 79 in the UK, this song will always be special. Live Aid 1985 at a full Wembley stadium - go search it up, scorching hot summers day and Madonna kills it in the afternoon, amazing band too. So...with SingIt Live, I got the chills from when the beat drops. I cannot speak highly enough of Darren and each and every musician. It's just such a magic balance of performance, production and vibe. This is the only Australian channel for me - and since Neighbours has ended - and one of my heroes Shane Warne is no longer with us - SingIt Live is now carrying the flame for me!!!

Good job from the entire band. Well inspired from the Virgin tour 1985. Tough busy Synth bass replaced by Damien's groovy E.Bass. Drums are so tight and similar to the original song. Rhythm Guitar kept the song busy and interesting. Stefan's solo is creative and soulful (just like he did in TFF's Everybody Wants to Rule the World). Darren with Synth layer and Piano layer keeping the song busy and sparkling with nice backing vocal to boost. Chloe is so energetic and pulling it off like in a Live performance. Nice octave switch at 3:41. Maybe to add a tambourine? haha. I am loving the Performance. Thank you. 👍👍👍

What a total badass - and Tzan - that's as funky as strumming gets - the bass player here..(get your headphones on folks and thank me later) - killer vocals - drummer in the pocket - and the man Darren getting those synth sounds DOWN cold! oofff....(and...repeat) can't stop playing this bad boy!! Chloe is great check her out in The Cast RU-vid sessions. While IMO not better the icon Madonna but it is an excellent vocal and musical tribute to the original hit song. But IMHO Stephan on the guitar 🎸 solo stole show, talented young man who really showed on this song and several others. The future is very bright.

I don't know about anyone else out there, but let me say this, and maybe I'm just a tad sensitive, this rendition brought a tear to my eye right from the very beginning! Chloe Castledine gave her all and it was evident start to finish! I mean Chloe was just so energetic and magical behind the mic and in front of the lens. What a fantastic voice and range! Let's not forget the other members of Singit Live who performed equally as well. Chloe, when are you going to make available an autographed 9x12 glossy suitable for framing (I'll take one). Wow! Anything else to add Matty? Based on Madonna's performance at, in my opinion, the greatest concert ever - Live Aid July 13th 1985. Chloe captures the fun and passion that Madonna eluded, and the rest of the gang bring the vibrance to life. No need to pick out everyone as this is a real team effort. In the 17 short weeks that we have had this channel going, apart from over 2 million views, there has been at the time of my counting, over 12,000 comments from fans. 💪This is a phenomenal number from only having 33K subscribers. As usual, this band takes a classic song and makes it their own and keeps the original sound front and center....where do they find these vocalists? they are always impressive and the sound is mixed to perfection. Keep them coming folks....you continue to build a huge fan base.

Chloe, this is my first time listening to you. Congratulations, you sand a classic Madonna song very well, better than Madonna. Your energy was a highlight, you are an entertainer. I liked how the snare sounded. It was enough to punch through without being overbearing. I also appreciated the warmth of the solo and the guitar licks throughout the song. The guitars were very good.

Darren, you may or may not be a nerd, i reallly don't care , you ar e pure "Magic" all your arrangements and who you choses to perform is always perfect, Chloe is just perfect and I found the group by accident,and so glad i did what an amazing redition and he jsut adds something to it ,and it just gets better and better , ty Darren u are so far above many in the industry, and one more thing , u actually don't know just how good u are , Can't wait till u findn out , then the whole world will know just how good u are !!
