I just finished watching this show for the first time and I loved it! The art style, the storytelling, the overall vibe of the show was all just so good! I just wish I had seen it when it first came out.

This is the real 'Into the Unknown', not what Frozen gave us.

Little scenario I made, enjoy. It's November, 2014. Your dad's asleep on the living room couch, while your mom texts a few of her friends to coordinate Thanksgiving plans for later in the month. The rooms still smell like pumpkin thanks to the few wax melts that still have scent. You walk into your warm room and sit on your bed, intrigued by the announcement of new show that will be playing on the TV soon... After a few minutes, it starts. And a familiar yet unknown theme begins to play.

i was raised in a cult, and i have really serious memory issues, and mental struggles. this song reminds me of all those things, but still makes me feel warm inside, it makes me feel like im not alone. the song and the show speak to me, i cant explain why, they just make me feel comfortable, and im so glad that this show exists. i rewatch it every halloween

One time I was in a coma for like 3 weeks. It was a near death experience. I'm really connected to this series because it was "loosley" kind of like this for me, a very confusing, peaceful, sometimes scary journey through your own mind... Or wherever it was.

This show got me through some tough times. I would watch this show, and although right afterwards I would have to leave my room to be with my abuser, for a brief moment, I was safe. I was in my room, in my bed, I was okay. And now, years later, when I listen to this I'm back in that bed. My mother is just down the hall, my childhood pet is a whistle away. Everything is there where I left it. Even if it's for a brief moment, I can be sure I haven't lost the most important things in my life. My friend is a phone call away, for a brief moment, and I am there. I am in my bed, maybe even under my old blanket. My socks have holes in them because it was the first time I lived in a house with tile, and I didn't like how it felt on my bare feet. I'm wearing a pair of pj's I borrowed from my mom, because we bought a matching pair a few years ago and I outgrew mine. it's a bit too big, but it fits me just right. I wish I could go back there forever, to hug my mom and pet my dog, to call my friends and wear holes into my socks. But, even if it's just for 2 minutes and 45 seconds, I can go there. It's not long enough to do everything I want to, but it's enough to do what I need to. It's long enough to be okay, for a brief moment.

My dog recently died, and this song reminds me of her for some reason. Maybe it's the lyric "dancing in a swirl of golden memories" that hits hard.

I so dearly hope that I can someday live the way I want to. A small house tucked out of the way, filled with antique furniture and warm, nostalgic smells wafting out the kitchen window. Wind chimes playing in the breeze, a rocking chair or two on the porch, sweet vintage music playing from somewhere inside. A room meant only for writing, with a desk by a curtained window and an ornate lamp, with notebooks and manuscripts strewn about. I don't know how to play the piano, but if I did, I'd own an old one, put it in my living room and play this every day. This song, and really the entire OTGW soundtrack, reminds me of my desired lifestyle. By listening to this song, I keep up hope that one day, someday, I can find my true home. :)

Gosh, this song reminds me of when I think of my past. How it was so beautiful and carefree, some sad but mostly wondrous, mainly in my High School years. Before COVID happened and took away all that I loved so dearly. My school life, chaotic but enjoyable, my group of friends, my school job, good grades, and my stable well-being. Ever since the pandemic closed my school down, my life never felt the same ever since. All of my memories since became deeply bleak. Mere fond, but old memories that I hold onto. Wishing, for those sweet times to come by again. Alas, the happy memories begin to fade and reality becomes a burden. I will move forward, and may I perhaps lie, that I will have those golden days once more in the future.

I broke down yesterday. Gonna seek professional help, maybe I can lay some stuff to rest and learn to deal with my struggles, maybe my demons will go away. Wish me luck

I was listening to this song because I enjoy it, but then I began to remember my cat, Cassie. He passed away on my birthday this year. Not a day goes by that I don't miss him. Kidney failure sucks, and I just want my best friend back. There are so many firsts I thought he would go through with me. College, my first house, graduation, the holidays... but at least I was there with him through his final journey. "Dancing in a swirl of golden memories; the loveliest lies of all"... I miss him so much.

Alright so apparently I just intruded onto someone else diary. But if I may take this page to express an emotion, it is wistful longing. It's Halloween season and it's currently almost midnight and I'm thinking about RE8 and this thing I'm doing. The one that proves everything for the past year was a waste of time. But then again, maybe it won't be, but the lattitidue is narrow and the optics are grim. I would take vampires and dollhouses over this feeling. And maybe that's why I'm here and maybe that's why out of a million videos of this song out there, I'm here, and I happen to come across the one person who made it a time capsule of themselves. And I wonder, if and definitely in 8 years when he looks back, will it shock him? Will it fill him with dread, will he be dissapointed at the lack of change, will he laugh? And will he see this the next time he comes round. Selfishly I hope so so we can wallow in the sadness together. Truly though, I wonder how all this will look in another decade, and where I might be. But I guess my eyes have been glazing over the past 15 minutes.

Sunday, May 28th 12:37, I can’t really sleep, I saw how people use this as a diary and I decided I’d do the same. Yesterday was ok, it was our second night of our musical performances. There were some issues but it went well. I’m just stressed is all, I recently went through a breakup and Just sitting here alone in my room listening to this song is relaxing.

just finished over the garden wall. such a masterpiece! Obviously, could’ve been better in a few ways, but i love just how morbidly whimsical the show was! soooo good

This song is my absolute favorite. But it means so much more to me, after my close friend softly sang it to me one night. We were at a girls camp for a summer trip, using a girl's cabin, it was an awesome summer, but one night i just couldn't sleep. I woke up from a nightmare, and i kept tossing and turning, i felt a little home sick, not at all being able to get comfortable, missing my mom, and miss sleeping in my own bed. She saw that i had trouble falling back asleep. So, she got into bed with me, after asking if it was okay. And after i said of course it was okay, she cuddled up with me, and we both love this short series, and she memorized this song, getting every single word right of the song, and tune, as she sofly and quietly sang it to me. I didn't even ask her to, She wanted to beacuse she cared. She even rubbed my arm up and down softly, and sang the song again, but humming it softly instead, Before i even knew it, it was morning, i had fallen asleep without even realizing, and it was all beacuse of her soft singing, and her voice was so very pretty and gentle, i couldn't have fallen back asleep without her help. We're still best friend's to this day.😊
