Emile Hirsch at a very young age was able to do what most veteran actors with years and years of performance experience can not--play a real person without mimicking or doing an impression of them. Jay Adams would be a difficult role to play, but Emile captured that wildness and gravitas we’ve come to know about Jay while being his own humanity to the role. He turned in a terrific performance in “Into the Wild” as well as other roles he’s played. This was a good interview with good stories shared. Thank you.
Emile is a legend, and played Jay Adams (and Cleve Jones) beautifully. Loved the behind the scenes of Lords of Dogtown, especially because the whole cast had to learn how to skate pools.
When I saw it I noticed Jay was skating goofy now I get it, not gonna get a regular skater who can't act then Tony's story for Escape from LA, I saw that once and just figured it was Fonda on a green screen.
@@williamfranco7526 Assaulted a woman in 2015, jumped on her and choked her until she passed out when he was under heavy influence. Went to jail for 15 days and now acts like nothing ever happened.
What a treat! My head exploded when I saw the thumbnail. My fav actor of all time! Started at the opening night of alpha Dog and since then been hooked. Love this guy!!!!!! Can’t wait to watch! Thank u!
As a 46 year old Australian I can't believe Ellis just said he was on the aussie TV show the Henderson kids!! That's like an American saying he was on the Brady bunch! Almost
One of my favorite actors, so much talent. Love him in Into the Wild and The Girl Next Door! He gave so much life to Jay Adams, actually made me like him irl until I read up on his…adventures in HI
Hell yeah ive seen everything Emile has been in , one of my favorites that isnt talked about is bonnie and clyde on history channel a long while back . pretty dope he has his own experience in why a skatepark is a fun place to be. Props Emile hope life is treating you well !!
I used to see Emile at this place called the The Bar on Mondays (Thome Yorke DJed there). Huge fan Into the Wild was great as well. Lords of Dogtown too.
You guys need to get @JonnyGiger on here to do an interview. I only recently found his videos and he is an absolute killer on a skateboard. He's been learning Rodney Mullen tricks most recently!!
Emile is such a cool dude! Seems like a genuinely good person. The story about his great uncle and the termites is gold 😂 please keep me in mind for the deck giveaway! 🙏 🤞 ❤
Every film he's in, he's great. But Killer Joe is one of my favorites. It was moreso Juno Temples performance as well as McCaugheys. Alpha Dogs is great. Hell, as I said. He's great in general.
Yoooo! Great guest. Into The Wild is one of my all-time favorite movies. He's so damn good in that movie. Edit: Shit, add Killer Joe, as well. Also love that one. Second edit: Great ep. Add Emile to the list of people you should have on again. The chill between the three of you was super enjoyable to watch.
My favorite actor of all time, such a natural. I’ve always been blown away by his talent. The Mudge Boy blew me away when I saw it, soooooo much talent. ❤
Some of the best acting that Emile Hirsch has ever done was when he was shot in lone survivor and he just started babbling about how his mom said they weren't that good of shots over there lol
Lovely episode as usual. I definitely spiked that 👍🏽 button. Nfn but Jason needs to hit shoulders. He wore that tank top like he owned it but He’s got crab apple shoulders. He needs some grapefruits or cantaloupes. Do it. Do it.
I REMEMBER ORBITZ LOL, I WAS JUST TELLING MY MOM ABOUT THEM THE OTHER DAY.. THEY HAD AN ALIEN AS THEIRE LOGO UNDERNEATH THE CAP, THAT WAS LIKE 30 YEARS AGO
