Yes! I actually got her in the musical we’re doing at my school this year! I’m super stoked to portray her but I’m super nervous I’ll mess her character up
I mean, she does cheat on her husband and all and she proceeds to try and just brush it off in the next song Lol. But yeah, definitely a memorable character with some truly beautiful songs
TRUTH! I recently got cast as the Baker’s Wife, and this song (although rehearsals have just started) is so hard to get right vocally, choreography and emotionally. Jeez. It’s gonna be tough ride.
This song is merely a metaphor for an unruly tunnel snake slithering into your cave of wonders and spitting out baby making gravy once it gets too excited.
+Soon-to-be Famous actor I'm auditioning for the Baker in my school's production in a few days. I've been acting for years, but I've never sung for a performance before. Any tips or recommendations?
Be sure to warm up your voice and you can try to drink some tea with throat coat in it. Make sure your voice is sounding good the day of and dont overuse it or you might make it worse. Stay calm and look confident. Even if you feel that you did a bad job, or you think you wont make it, just put on a smile and act confident. Confident, not arrogant. Also, while singing, try to put feeling and emphasis to give the song character and really show your talent in acting. Break a leg. Let me know if you need more advice and I can try to get back to you if my schedule allows (no guarantees).
Hey kids, welcome to sex ed. So I know this subject can be awkward but heres how to make a baby: Cape as red as blood Hair as yellow as corn Cow as white as milk Slipper as pure as gold Any questions? Dont be getting pregnant to young now!
@@carlosalejandroalvarenga4913 Not true there are many people who may enjoy a mans time but because they are a man it could never work out. Orientation is a huge factor.
When they said 'We want four we've got three we need one, it takes two' I didn't realize they were talking about the cape, slipper, hood and hair until now, I thought by four they meant they want two children, three, them and the baby, one, the baker wanted to do it alone at first.
You've changed You're daring You're different in the woods More sure More sharing You're getting us through the woods If you could see You're not the man who started And much more openhearted Than I knew You to be It takes two I thought one was enough It's not true It takes two of us You came through When the journey was rough It took you It took two of us It takes care It takes patience and fear and despair To change Though you swear To change Who can tell if you do It takes two It takes two You've changed You're thriving There's something about the woods Not just Surviving You're blossoming in the woods At home I'd fear We'd stay the same forever And then out here You're passionate Charming Considerate Clever It takes one To begin, but then once you've begun It takes two of you It's no fun But what needs to be done You can do When there's two of you If I dare It's because I'm becoming Aware of us As a pair of us Each accepting a share Of what's there We've changed We're strangers I'm meeting you in the woods Who minds What dangers I know we'll get past the woods And once we're past Let's hope the changes last Beyond woods Beyond witches and slippers and hoods Just the two of us Beyond lies Safe at home with our beautiful prize Just the few of us It takes trust It takes just A bit more And we're done We want four We had none We've got three We need one It takes two
