This is one of the best, informative, inspiring videos I have seen, on inks. Memento inks to be exact. Thank you so much for testing the different papers and techniques. I love my inks, but to be honest, I never thought I could watercolor with them. And the result on the glossy paper!!! Stunning! Thanks again!
OMG! I was so excited to see this video. I love Tsukineko inks and they are the only ones I own. I find that among the Memento, original and new Versafines, and Versacolor inks, I always find the perfect combination for floral stamp layering. BTW, heat embossing an image is great for alcohol marker coloring too!
As a beginner its difficult to know the difference between dye ink, hybrid ink, pigment ink, etc.. I think there is another one i forgot. Hats the difference between water based and and alcohol based ink. Which one should be used for embossing. What is the difference between archival ink and non archival ink. Which is better to use when making cards ? And sometimes i use alcohol markers and other times watercolor pens or chamelion.
you are right, stunning on the glossy paper. Thanks so much for all the lessons. even after years, it is still good to refresh some knowledge and i always learn something new (or just forgot). : ) Teresa
I have so many ink pads and love them but the smaller colorbox ink pads usually always come loose from their base. I know i can glue them back but should not have to do that. They are handy for smaller spaces you want to ink with them. TFS!!!
Do you remember what brand of watercolor (water filled) paint brush you were using on this video? it seemed much finer point and less leaking than the type i have. Thanks, Teresa NO HURRY to respond.
if you like your colors to be distinct then yes use different brushes for different colors. But if you don't mind a little variety it show be ok if you clean the brushes between uses.
