Nice content, keep it up ;) About Goliaths: while it is true that Goliaths 'base stats' and skills lean heavily into making them into CC tanks, Gene-smithing does enable Goliaths to 'customise' their stats and skill access (specifically Unborns and Natborn Adaptive mind/Alpha lineage upgrades) as much as Venator gangs, which means if you want, you can make a very competent 'elite shooty Goliath gang' (use Natborn Prime specimen upgrade on normal gangers to make them BS 3+ at creation and give them Grenade launchers, Shotguns and Bolters), but your main drawback will be that you are usually outnumbered (if you lean on Gene-smithing your starting 1000 creds gang will usually top at 6-7 fighters-those gene-upgrades stack up costs very fast, especially if you go for an 'all Natborn' gang). Also if you wanted to lose friends fast, they are the gang that can 'spam' Overseer (not on your Forge tyrant) the most: Natborn Forge bosses with either Alpha lineage or Adaptive mind can choose Overseer at creation (freeing up the Tyrant to go all in for 'killy-ness') or if you're more of the forward planning type, you can simply get Natborn Bullies/Prospects with Alpha lineage and choose Overseer as soon as they gain 9 XPs. Alternatively if you are more of a 'role player' Gene-smithing does allow you to adapt your gang to almost any 'back ground' you may think of and represent in-game Sqats (all Vatborns with Doc's experiment +1T -1M), Orks (all Vatborns with Dermal hardening), Scavvies/muties (all Vatborns with assorted + and - stat modification upgrades), Ratskins (make them all Unborn with cunning), ecc... Overall I agree with your assessment that Goliaths need proper forethought, but that makes them a great gang for experienced players, since you can explore many different play-style or role play archetypes with the proper Gene upgrades. Super helpful video for someone shopping around for their first gang like I am. After reading the short story 'the birth of hunger' by David Annandale I've been super keep on the corpse grinder guild and now i have a better understanding of how they would play on the table top. Thank you =)

My main is Escher and my 2nd is Palanite Enforcers but I probably would have picked a different gang for my 2nd instead of the Palanite Enforcers after this vid :P

I do hope somewhere in future we see some of the House improvements to gangs given to the sidegangs like Venators or those of Book of Ruin. Many of these subgangs lack things like Gang Tactics to call their own minus the GW free printout tactics, and I can picture some interesting ideas for Brute models involving Helot, Corpse Grinder or Genestealer Cult addons using the pre-existing lines. Maybe it'll be something addressed for the gangs during some of the content related to Ash Waste? I dunno, but I can dream, even if it winds up as just like Corpse Grinders and Palentines that get the bulk of it.

How many miniatures you need to form a gang? There are 10 miniatures per box and I dont know if they are enough. Do i need to buy two boxes?
