THIS! this is the type of content I’ve been waiting on. Actual numbers, real world testing on stock machines to show the pros and cons of each before just shoving massive amounts of power at them
@@turbo-brian absolutely! Just nice to see some real world test of what people can expect if they bought one off the showroom floor then show the increase in ride comfort and performance with mods. Just a nice change
I was coming to say the exact same thing. I could see me buying one of these machines, so interested to hear what they think of them. Off the hop, I'd be leaning towards the R Max for the Yamaha reliability, and the shorter wheelbase. I'm not biased either; I've had a Sportsman and Maverick Sport.
As an rmax 4 owner I am stoked to see this. I've had covid for 2 weeks and been on quarantine. I started watching the snowmobile shootout, then binged about 12 hours. This is awesome
Congrats Mark! Regardless of what people think of the decision it was his to make. The new units are pretty cool and look forward to seeing how they stack up.
@@brapperdan do you know if they where giving money with the truck to cover personal property tax because that truck is a 80 k truck the trailer is probably around 8 and I'm not sure I think he said it was a x3 depending on what state you live in taxes could could be around 10k and in va we a what they call a luxury tax on top of that and that's 5k
@@brapperdanplus title transfer, tax, and fees would stack up quick, plus insurance on all of that stuff. It would be hard for me to pass up that cash.
FINALLY!! I've been waiting for you guys to get an rmax!! Soo jacket to see it on the trails! Thought for sure with the shorter wheel base it would have more whp but it's not built for speed, its built for the trails. I think it's gonna dominate the trails, TEAM BLUE! You aint never gonna see a 10 year belt warranty out of a Polaris or canned ham! Haha
It does have more rear crank HP but like all Yamaha SxS, it has a wet clutch, which robs some HP for belt reliability and traction, which is why the RWHP isn't as impressive as at the crank, but also wheelbase has nothing to do with engine output.
So glad to see some other SXS and options!! I would love to see the progression from mild to wild as you put these SXS's through the paces. Keep it coming.
First time I have watched in a while now. Soon as I seen an Rmax, I was in. Love mine other than the broken rear shock that I have been waiting over a year for Yamaha to replace.
Glad to see y’all reviewing some new machines! I found this channel from your talon review. This kind of stuff helps get you new viewers. Y’all get to experience a lot more sxs’ than the average joe so your input it valuable, even if these machines aren’t your personal style. Excited to see more on these units and on the cheap sled challenges!
Ill almost guarantee the rmax is the tougest a buddy forgot his parking brake and parked his on its side on the bottom of the lake. Totally submerged we dragged it out oil didnt even have water in it pulled air filters and ran it the rest of the weekend
Awesome to see some new units ripping around and the comparison on each. Can't wait to see what kinda multi day trip you got planned always a good time
Great video fellas. Looking forward to more of this stuff. Also, hoping we can get some air in 2JP's front passenger tire. hahaha Loving the snowmobile content as well. Such a fun competition.
Congrats to Mark!! Love all these new rides! Can’t wait to see y’all put them to the test! You should do a test on how well they perform/ hold up with 4 adults riding in em!
Glad to see the maxx and hope this bring more aftermarket exposure to them. Ive had mine over the last 2 years and absolutely love. I fell in love with the short wheel base.
Can't wait for this showdown. I want that rmaxx but these events you're about to put these machines through will be a big part in my decision on which is my next machine.
Can’t wait to see more of these units. I have a commander my buddy has a general was surprised on dyno numbers. Would love to see pavement drags and these sxs jumping and comparing there suspension. Keep up the great work!!
For the east coast style riding (Picture drummond island but 55,284 km²) we do here in my province, that style of sport-ute is what dominates the trails here. Billy goats over X3's around here. Also big congrats on the max-flex winner. Looking forward to more contests. The blog hoodie i got is super warm and great quality. You guys deserve those fresh units and more subscribers.
I live in nova scotia Canada and my x3 xmr is hands down the most versatile machine in our group. Love the videos. I've watched every single one. Keep it up boys. And please come to Canada and give ole ostacruiser a visit.😎
I recommend strengthen inside rear square tubing lower controls arms welded too for the rmax4. Mine rolled once on side and bent rear frame and cage up, but safety features are great as no one got hurt.
Bought an Rmax in 2021, absolutely love the machine. I can't wait to see the comparison of them on the trails! I know the Rmax is a very capable machine, had a blast at Silver lake sand dunes with it!
Wow I am extremely impressed with all 3 units! I own the General Deluxe and for some time no other sport/utility could touch it. Strong competition is good for us!!💚
This is hilarious, watched a vid a week ago, decided on buying a sxs. Instantly drawn to the 2 seater version and was trying to decide which one. This is great!
I would done same thing pick $100k people need to remember keeping truck,SXS,trailer you have to pay taxes on it when you register it.. at least you have the cash to pay taxes on $100k . Most people wouldn't have tax money pay on truck,SXS,trsiler. I knew someone won a brand new truck he had to get a loan to pay taxes, 2 years later he lost truck cuz he got very sick and couldn't pay the loan
@sxsblog I’ve had my rmax since early summer and I can say it’s a beast. It’s not the fastest or the most comfortable but it’s sure a little Billy goat. I’ve personally been nothing but happy with it!
I've had an Rmax2 since May of 21, it is an absolute beast. 3600 miles so far, and the only issue was a blown belt at 3200 miles, which was covered under warranty.
