Thank you so much for this! I realize now how my personality, way of doing things, how I conduct my daily cleaning, the way I organize my days and past employment seem to all tie in with the one position! I'm a SWE and I love coding, but it seems the more senior I get the more there is an expectation that SWEs are also project managers, designers, and pretty much do everything else. Hoping this can help with that a bit.

I'm not the most organized but I think I'm intelligent enough. My masters degree was so easy I feel like anybody could do it. My job is extremely boring and I think the people around me are both lacking IQ and power hungry (school district). It's a bad combo as it gets my temper going. Might give this a try even though staying organized is not my concise innate attribute

Hi👋 Actually i planning to move my career in Project management. I had some few doubts it will be great if u help me with that ( anyone who's having answer for this also pls cmt it) " i can't find proper answer in anywhere ". My doubts are, 1. What are the roles & responsibilities of project management team in hierarchy basis like (junior BA > BA > junior PM > PM > PO) & the skills they need yo develop 2. Is the project manager or any one in the team of project management had to know the knowledge of coding/ program language skills in TECH domain. 3. What are the key certification those project management team persons had to pursue. 4. Is the project manager can able to switch domains like TECH to retail or any filed where there is need of project management.

Project managers are needed everywhere. No you don’t need to able to code to a project manager. If you’re in the tech field especially in a “software development”group/team it’s nice to be able to at least understand what the code is doing to get the job done. Project Management is a bunch of soft skills that you’ll learn and implement. As you grow as a PM your ability to use these skills at the right moments will begin to manifest sooner during projects allowing you to level up as a PM. No matter what career field, learning these techniques will only help you.

You have to sit for an exam to earn the PMI certification. This is just a certificate for completing a series of courses.
