When having the puppy go in and out of the box wait until they are completely in/out of box before treating and praising puppy. The second time she was coming out again you didnt wait wait until she was completely out and you started to praise her and didn't even realize she was peeing so in puppys mind your saying good job to her peeing on carpet.. And Im saying this in a Respectful manner not tryin to be mean and hate, Very cute dog too!!!
Annie your babies are gorgeous and i love love the ipo obedience you've put on your dogs...who have you followed in some of your approaches...i like alot of mike ellis' stuff..markers etc..met him many yrs ago ..great trainer a genuinely nice person..and ivan balabanov...i am working with my first corso...had mals and bullmastiffs in the past..love this foundation work😊
Hello, I will get a french bulldog next week. He will be 6 weeks with his first round of shots. I want to take him out to start potty training but we’re in an apartment where a lot of dogs walk around all day/night. Any tips? Thank you soooo much

Maybeeat works well... Not sure what this lady is using but test done out to see what your puppy goes crazy over, and what it just likes a slot (my sound is on mute because everyone is sleeping) but if she talks about high value reward, she might mean like meat. And good value would be whatever your pup likes, maybe just from the store.
Yeah. I agree with the chicken or food, but also try other types of meat, use common sense and personal judgement for how much and how often. (Like chicken nuggets... They can be bad I'm sure, I've just never seen it happen. I grew up on the reservation and those dogs thrived in table scraps and low quality food. Never had any issues... I don't do it anymore... I've been city-fied lol but it never hurt our dogs. Just be smart about what you feed and watch for issues) I love this foundation work! Beautiful session! YESSSS the high pitch works wonders... And "drawing" (when you want them to come, adding movement away, like backing up while calling high pitched) also really helps! Puppies are curious and this was a great example. Don't expect perfection at first. But DO be consistent and patient. Great work here! 👏👏👏🥰
