Hi, Miss Dawn, I am so glad you have posted a video to explain this matter. My question is, How does the thesis statement look like for a Rogerian argument essay?. Should the writer expose his or her position, should the writter display only the opposing view position. Thank you.
For Rogerian essays, a thesis can be how you identify the middle ground and explain why that middle ground is important for two sides to agree upon. Then in your conclusion, you can explore the potentials for shifting the conversation or topic once people can find this middle ground.
I appreciate the great information included in this video. Many people are afraid of silence and therefore use filler words, such as 'um.' Unfortunately, these filler words detract from the potency of the information being provided. I myself have a hard time creating videos. I am not comfortable in front of a camera. Although it is difficult, one must do their best to remain calm, and get their point across while allowing some silence.
