The Lao Tzu quote was spot on, I'm kind of a fan: "... Do you have the patience to wait till your mud settles and the water is clear? Can you remain unmoving till the right action arises by itself? The Master doesn't seek fulfillment. Not seeking, not expecting, he is present, and can welcome all things." 15, Book of the way by Lao Tzu (Tao Te Ching)
Man I am hitting this consistently after six months of working on it. Today was the first day I got the kimura because I couldn’t break his arm bar defence. Typically with the pressure they just let the arm bar happen. This is great content man - appreciate it greatly as always! Fantastic instruction.
This video is so good that I don't want to share it with my training partner 😅 !! By the way, the pressure point is on the solar plexus, in medicine we call it the epigastrium, the pressure there prevents the diaphragm from moving down ....not allowed to move buddy!!
Brandon! Just found you man.Real nice technique very impressed with you. Grateful I found you. Come to Ohio! You have real nice teaching skills. Excellent!!
@@brandonmcninja nothing solid yet, but shooting for July. Maybe a few weeks to a month in Decatur, the same in Jax and back here by high season(September).
Just so happened watched this yesterday, and Gordon Ryan finished Roberto Jimenez with the same exact double undertook setup. He probably should’ve watched this video to see the kimura attack was there first. 😂
Kesa Getame can be HEAVY AF if you grab your inner thigh and sit ur weight back in their diaphragm. Most people (white belts) tap from pressure well before I can get any sub from that position.
Hey Brandon, Plz make a video showing transitions of a particular attack (ambar, guillotine, rnc) from white belt to black belt. Would love it. Love from India🤙
This one of the top positions I need to master 💪🏽 Coach is there a way to message you with couple questions related to 10p youth development in your academy? My sons been training nearly 4 years at 10p and I am gathering info on how to help them reach top level in next few years as they are already pretty good for their ages respectevely...
My old professor was around 15-20 pounds lighter than me and he would tap me w his s mount. Lol he’s tease me like “oh no don’t tell me Brennan is tapping from mount?!” Lmfao his s mount felt like being squeezed by a reticulated python.
Great video, thanks I'll try it. Question though Brian, at 2:10 when you're posturing up and leaning back like that do they ever get a leg up around your head or in your arm pit and snatch you down off of mount in the southward direction? Do you ever get put into inverted triangles leaning back like that?
