The camera work, music choice, THE CRAZY ASS TRICKS/BOARD CONTROL DEMONSTRATION was ALL on point. One of the best skate vids IVE seen in awhile all around. I applaud y’all 🤯🤜👏👏👏👏
Yuto will be around for a long time I look forward to the day I meet him. Skateboarding has guided me through life and I'm so thankful to be apart of something so special. I just turned 32 in August and I've been skating 22 years and I can't wait to go skating tomorrow (Monday actually). If you want something go for it don't ever doubt yourself jist focus, practice and speak good of yourself. See you guys out there ✌
Reminds me of the Blind days with all the blank boards! lol... I'm sure that was before they could get put into production with graphics. Awesome tricks and video! Congrats on the team and new company!
shane. thank you for not only your technique and skill on the board, but for creating one of the greatest and most talented teams in the game!! the skating world would be a different place without you; seriously thank you man you're inspiring millions!
Kudos to the person that put this amazing team together, the new spots featured, the editing and of course the vibe this music gives off. When I was a kid in the 90’s that first song played all the time on the radio!!
Being a street skater from the 80's I watch these videos and all I can think of is Freestyle skating applied to the street. Rodney Mullen had no idea then what his influence would create some 30+ yrs later. Just amazes me to see. Just amazing. Lots of talent on this video. Lots of love from the old school guys that's for sure...👍
i've kinda only gotten back into pro skateboarding (so don' take what i'm writing too seriously) but from what i saw from the last two years' bigger contests' shane hasn't been that convincing under pressure. i agree with your first 2 sentences, i love to watch him skate....but i would be surprised if he ended up with a medal. actually...i'm gonna make a bold guess here: tokio 2020 olympic skateboarding street medal winners will all be from japan. yuto horigome, sora shirai and daisuke ikeda. not entirely sure if yuto will still be able to win if sora keeps improving like that. (lived in tokio for 3 yrs, obviously a little biased here xD )
fritzpipedorowalter well you’re not wrong about Shane, although it’s not the pressure, it’s his mindset. He sets his bar sooo high for himself that if he doesnt reach his own expectations he’s not gonna deliver. But if Shane has the right mindset, he destroys anyone in every contest. The guy’s only human though
Watching Yuto street skating gives you so much more of an appreciation for his skating than the SLS stuff. It’s great making a bunch of money and getting recognition (I get it, he should do that 100%), but there’s nothing like a street part.
