I enjoyed the video. My boss had a 1930 chevrolet coupe , so i had to watch. This was in Texas in 1996, his was the same color & 100% stock. Thanks for a ride down memory lane. Be happy you're not paying CA. gas prices 💰

Very interesting! I guess your right todays autos all look like each other. Sort of follow the leader. I would have thought that for a six you could go 65 or 70 mph, but I guess not. Glad you got a manageable model finally. If you ever can find a green can of Karskin, it was the greatest paint restorer. You simply took a damp wash cloth and squeezed a quarter sized dollop of green blue colored karskin onto it and gently rubbed. It would clean up and polish all at the same time. A remarkable product. Give Dotty a pattern on the cowl and tell her hi from Chris in Grants Pass Or. I'm very happy for you! I've often wanted an old Ford model A or MG TA. Or other relic from the past. The trouble comes with expensive parts and labor. So your very fortunate to enjoy the quality build of a Chevrolet. I presume it's much more reliable than Ford and better quality. But I could be mistaken. Thank you for a glimpse into what it might be like to drive a vehicle of yesteryear. Hope to see Dottys engine sometime and do you have spoked wheels and if so how do you true them? How often do you radiator flush and so on? Look forward to your camera review, happy motoring!😅

Love this! I miss my living history community since I moved. My sweet spot is 1860-1919, but I've dabbled in the 1950s. Would love an excuse to get a car like that--but I need to learn to drive stick, first!

Really cool video! That Chevy looks surprisingly quick for the year.

Yeah, the fish eye lens on the GoPro makes it look faster than it is. I didn't really go any faster than perhaps 35mph that whole video.
