I believe character of Dr. Jehangir be utilized for a NETFLIX series . Say 10 episodes with each a distinct short story and the story key character contacts SRK ( doctor) to guide them and with SRK guidance matters start to improve . Each episode can touch one common Psychological issue (Inferiority complex - impact on teen agers due to Domestic violence - Expectations of parents over pressurizing young adults etc etc ) . Hope some one is listening 👂🌟
Yup, I agree. I can easily say that he is one of the finest actors, not only in India, but the world. But, I still can’t understand, why this movie’s wasn’t a huge success. 😕😕
@@rudrakshaghosh5994 This movie was made with 21 crores and at the end it collected around 132 crores worldwide and in India it collected 62 crores. It was superhit movie
💯 my friend. When shahrukh chooses a serious script, he is one of the best. We have seen him do it in his younger days and in his prime. Now as his older, he should do a lot more like this, no more masala or romantic films.
Absolutely no doubt about his charisma ; the problems are absurd storylines SRK chose in last few yrs ; specially ZERO & FAN . SRK’s performance in both is parallel to none! And would be referred to in acting schools for decades. But story plot ? So bizarre and incoherent ! Hope to see SRK in more roles like this marvel DEAR ZINDAGI ! 🌟🌟
@@mohsinaz i agree that storyline of zero was poor(might be 2nd half especially) but fan was outstanding, everything from storyline to acting and direction was best, but still it failed then we indians complain that bollywood doesn't produce different kinda films. For me fan was SRK's carrier bestest film. I know that it didn't match the taste of indian audience(the usual action comedy masala films) but they'll regret after few years like they do now for swades(masterpiece which also got rejected). At last i say that even if storyline is bad we shud respect the experiments he do wid the films at the age of 50+.
@@kunals_050 well said experiments should be respected and SWADES was a GEM ; yet didn’t do well as it was ahead of its time, now viewers of 2020 , I believe are getting more mature and Hope will see better in near future 👍
I don't know why people don't emphasize mental health I mean- Psychology is such a beautiful career socially as well as personally, the amount of appreciation you get is equal to doing thousands of prayers !! I can't wait to pursue psychology :-)
The silent masterpiece that got away, the messages in this speech is more valuable than we think it is regarding mental health! People are waking up to it and this movie is great for that
I am one of the biggest fans of SRK, the only reason I watched this movie is for SRK and this character is also the main reason why I am going to do master's in psychology even if I'm from an engineering background.
I have seen this movie many times. I also listen its songs a no of times, it is really a stress buster. One of the two greatest movie of Shahrukh Khan, the other one I find is "Swadesh" where he is a scientist but comes from USA to India back for serving his motherland. Very patriotic movie and beautiful songs. I really adore both movies
This movie makes me want more. Little more of Jug's perception, his ideologies which makes life simpler. More of his kabaddi sessions with the sea. More of life teachings to keep going with difficulties. We all somewhere wish to meet our very own Jug to guide us.
Perhaps, only bollywood movie which shows that mental health is also important.. Thank you SRK and Red chillies entertainment for giving us such an wonderful movie 😎
This is one of the best characters srk has played.. No over the top emotions or expressions.. Simple and subtle... Srk should do characters like these in future
I m in 12th and wanted to become a psychologist from my teenage days and now i have decided that i m gonna do doctorate in psychology and thanks to srk he give me a boost
In reality very less people will be like these. Its better you talk to parents or your friends or sort your own shit out ! Do what you like ! It will be difficult , but then it will become simple !
This movie is one the most amazing, fantastic, awesome movie there are so many words in adjective which describe beauty.... This is such a beautiful movie which tells us lot about mental health we need to take care of it Thank you Red chilli production for this wonderful movies such an enlighten Peaceful
this is the last time srk showed off his acting skills level then back to commercial acting come on srk do movies like this so i can enjoy when i am depressed 😚
It's sad and upsetting to say that they're aren't any people like Jug (Shahrukh Khan) in real life. I suffer with mental health problems and issues. And I don't have a person like Jug in real life. People don't want to listen to a person with an illness. Because they just think Depression is negativity and being ungrateful 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
This movie is really Gem and Masters pieces as its Highlites the society deep Fear and stigma of people suffering from Depression SRK performance for such an Unimportant Role is Truely outstanding and shows that how we should tackle these chronic problem affecting 21st century Masses
What I find funny is that ppl n so called critics keep shouting that we don't find any male stars supporting female oriented films n keep praising Hollywood stars n conveniently forgetting one of the biggest stars like srk did a supporting role in a female led movie even though he didnt have to. Hats off srk 👏😁
I'm not a Shahrukh Khan fan. I don't like him in any way at all. But this is one of the very few films where I liked Shahrukh Khan and his acting. His acting in this film was brilliant. Shahrukh Khan was phenomenal and outstanding in this film and character 👏👏👏. The only 3 films where I liked Shahrukh Khan and his acting were Veer-Zaara, My Name Is Khan, and Dear Zindagi. These are the only 3 films where Shahrukh Khan did sensible and mature acting. These are the only 3 memorable and acting performances of Shahrukh Khan. Shahrukh Khan's way of therapy and advice was out of this world. This film cheers you up, especially the scenes featuring Shahrukh Khan, with his hilarious stories and good advice. This is the only sensible film Shahrukh Khan did after, My name is Khan and Veer-Zaara. This is one of the very few 3 films where he did sensible and mature acting. In this film, he didn't overact or be loud unlike his other films such as Darr, Deewana, RBGM, Baazigar, Anjaam, DDLJ, Ram Jaane, EBDM, Yes Boss, Dil Toh Pagal Hai, Pardes, Duplicate, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Baadshah, PBDHH, K3G, Devdas, HTHS, Kal Ho Naa Ho, Chalte Chalte, KANK, Om Shanti Om, Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, JTHJ, Chennai Express, Happy New Year, Dilwale, and JHMS. I hated him in all these other films 🤢🤢🤢🤢. He was annoying, irritating, and loud af 😤😤😤. His acting made me sick in all his other films 🤮🤮🤮🤮. Shahrukh Khan's only best films and acting performances to date are : Veer - Zaara My Name Is Khan Dear Zindagi
@@PratyushaKumarS no buddy...actually his entry is way later into the plot and then too scattered all around the movie....it felt like an extended cameo type role....!
