It's difficult to have a bias in Mamamoo as they are all amazing in their own ways

this is why i stan mamamoo, i felt not only inspired but grew confident in myself back when i really needed it the most, and overall just try to become a wonderful soul like them

Mamamoo is hugely influenced by jazz.. you will really enjoy their older music which was mostly jazz based. Also, you should check out their many performances from the show immortal songs 2- they’re all covers of classic Korean songs that have been reimagined for the performance. If you liked their intro song (which I believe the recording is taken from their intro to a performance on the show “sketchbook”), you must watch these. Please also react to their “immortal songs medley” it’s one of the best performances I’ve ever seen and is a medley of a bunch of their songs from immortal 2 recorded from their concert. Thanks!

Also, if you like that mamamoo uses a live band, you will love their music. Mamamoo was formed for the sole purpose of being actual artists as opposed to just idols. It’s why they were initially judged for their looks- they were picked because of their immense talent instead of purely looks (although they are all beautiful, they were each rejected by dozens of companies before forming under RBW). RBW has made a commitment to quality music, and while mamamoo uses a lot of produced tracks, the bulk of their music is recorded with RBWs house band and studio musicians (all very talented jazz musicians). Adding to that, these girls are also accomplished musicians. I wish guides touched more on their talents instead of just the “idol” type stuff, but I guess it attracts more new fans so I’m not mad. Solar is a very good piano player, and the other girls can play instruments passably (wheein plays drums pretty well). They all contribute to the music, like BTS, and have also composed and produced a chunk of their music. They always tour with an AMAZING live band (check out “immortal songs medley” to see- watching this is what made me decide to get into mamamoo because it is so impressive). Mamamoo is basically 4 artists who could all stand on their own as soloists that have found success being combined into one super group. Also, you have to watch their live performances to understand just how vocally talented they are. Their ability to harmonize is next level and their live voices are much more impressive than their studio work. Also, as you can tell already, they have these larger than life personalities and charisma, and that is especially true when theyre on stage- charisma x1000. This is getting long, but as you can tell I’m very passionate about this group.

mamamoo is a genre ,, if you listen to all their songs, you will see all kinds of music genres and also very interesting songs ,, and it will not bore you with their songs and especially their very funny personalities ..

Mamamoo are known as SK VOCAL QUEENS, always delivers on their live stages even when there are problems with their MRs/backing tracks they dont flinch and continue on performing there are some vids on YT that shows their professionalism on performing during festivals. You will totally love their performance especially on their Immortal songs medley also on Dingo Killing Voice (Dingo will give you spoilers on their songs)

Everyone has said a lot, so I’ll try to keep it fresh lol. Mamamoo is such a confident group, breaking stereotypes and empowering women. This is why they legit have a 97% female fanbase. (Have you noticed all the screaming is coming from women? LOL) Also, Solar’s RU-vid channel is definitely worth subscribing to. Lots of behind the scenes content and fun shenanigans too. By the way, those 3 corgis belong to Moonbyul. :P All of the girls of Mamamoo are extremely close with each other. You’ll often find Moonbyul behind the camera for Solar’s RU-vid channel. They’re an actual family in Hwasa’s words. Their story makes you feel that they were really meant to be together. :) (Also, Purple Hawke will eventually add a Part 3.)

the intro song used that you were asking about actually is something mamamoo performed, introducing themselves at one of their performances on a show called yu huiyeoul's sketchbook. it's a program on kbs hosted by an experienced musician and has the best sound quality i've heard on any korean show, including their music award shows. sadly, since it's owned by kbs it's hard to react to things from it. but mamamoo has been on it a lot. i remember this song was in their 2017 performance on the show that got titled 'decalcomanie and four other songs' oh man, and that showterview jessi did with solar is pretty much the best thing ever. those two got along so, so well, which is amazing considering how shy solar tends to be when she first meets someone. not that jessi lets anyone stay shy around her... (the two were also together in an episode of 'running man' but, sadly, since they were in different teams there was little onscreen interaction) and yes, the way all mamamoo members have feminist battles they each focus on while also supporting the battles of the other members is one of the big reasons much of their fandom is female (like 90+ percent...) and quite a lot of them are gay. a large number of mamamoo's songs are about female empowerment, self-empowerment or both. and the members don't just sing songs about it, they embody these in everything they do, while also being superb vocalists and top-notch comedians

Hi Sandee, there is no formal studio version for the opening swing-like song, it is a segment that mamamoo did for some of their older live performances. It is a long video as it include the whole SNL Korea episode that mamamoo guested in, but you can just watch the opening for that swing intro :) cheers!
