Oh you guys are so frickin sweet. Reactors introducing Dimash to their friends is actually one of my favourite things because that's when we really see the genuine Dear come through, the way they talk about Dimash to their friends, and their faces while they are watching. Something so beautiful about it. Of course, in your case John , it is obvious from your own reaction videos too that you truly appreciate Dimash (otherwise i wouldn't keep following anyway). I do feel a little bit sorry for your friend though, having his first time exposure like this as it is so hard to process 😅I'm sure glad i was by myself at night. The experience was literally so powerful that it actually got erased from my memory. I remember what happened right before it, but then starts a blank. I have since checked out of curiosity from my browser history what on earth happened. Apparently i immediately watched 5 different versions of the song. Thank you for a great video :)

I was happy when he said it had been a long time since he heard new music. He is in for music nirvana. I hope you have him with you again. I don't know what you should have him listen to next, Sinful Passion, Love Is Like A Dream, Stranger, Ave Maria, Olympico (Ogni Peitra), Ikanaide( remember to listen all the way to the end.), Adagio and I'd better stop now. I envy your trip to Japan. I had an opportunity to live there for a period of time and I loved every minute of it. Just don't love it so much that you don't come back. I didn't know you were doing this kind of stuff with your friends, and I just had to laugh. I think everyone who's been stunned by Dimash has begun proselytizing about him to every person they know. What is really interesting is that I've shared his music with such a diverse range of people, and it doesn't seem to make a difference whether they're young, old, hip, or totally not, it seems like anyone can relate to Dimash, regardless of their previous taste in music or lifestyle. Maybe beauty in its purest form can be experienced by all humans, equally.

I thoroughly enjoyed y’all’s reaction to this song. Here’s a little backstory. In 1976, Michael Berg composed SOS especially for the vocal range of his very good friend, Daniel Balavoine. Luc Paladom wrote the lyrics. The story is cyberpunk with the main character I being Johnny Rockfort. His love interest, Crystal, is killed by a cyber attack and as she’s dying in his arms, he is filled with such despair and questions his own existence, thus the song, SOS. At the end, he’s able to let her go with the tender words, Sleep, Child , Sleep. Rock opera itself is a multi layered story. personally, I never tire of listening to SOS, Adagio and the MVs SCREAMING and from 2012, hits very first, My Beauty , EVERY DAY since 2018.
Wikipedia provides more details about the opera. In the early 2000’s, in the French Star Academy Competition, Gregory Lamarchell won with his version of SOS. Dimash was so moved by Gregory’s performance and story that he learned the song and went to the Star Academy years later to perform it in homage to Gregory, which was well received. It has since become his signature song.

He made it 'cause he need his fans (Dears) so much ! The 10 $ was not for him, but for a Charity group, for sicks childrens and old peoples in Hospital !!! What a humble man is Dimash !!!!
