SO EXCITING. During testing, some of my raw prototypes played hell on my cherry coating. I may be ordering a new one soon. Definitely not your fault. They werent ever designed to be bunched into plungers too short. :/

I mean, it all depends on how high you drop it from and what it’s falling onto, if you drop a Caliburn from shoulder hight onto concrete, then you should be worried, but if it lands in the grass, the only thing you’d really need to worry about is dirt getting in

I wouldn't mind seeing and carrying an all metal Caliburn for wars.

I can see where you’re coming from, but these will be very useful. I have been running a Caliburn for ~1 year now, and absolutely love it, but, i have had the Sear wear down on me which renders it completely useless. Now, I’m not to sure how useful the metal plunger would be (too heavy and will slightly lower performance) when you can machine them out of something like delrin, but the sear and trigger parts will be awesome

Demo_the _man But the question is, is it really worth it? You're spending at least 5x what it costs to print these parts, and they are easy to replace. The thing is, would you be using it to show off, or for the durability, which IMO is not worth the cost.

-The plunger on a Caliburn slams into the back of the rubber padded ram so it will be perfectly fine no worse then the standard 3D printed one slamming into it. -Full metal plunger also increase performance by giving a consistent full seal all the way around -The sear is one of the most common parts to fail on the Caliburn which is why Slug actually recently started printing them in ABS as he was having to replace so many under warranty. -The trigger has to be metal since the sear is otherwise it would wear out the trigger rather quickly. So why not make it nice with the rest of the package.

It's not possible to shoot vortex discs pneumatically. And if I were to adapt using the plunger as just a hammer to punch the discs to shoot them not only the would the performance probably not be great, but also would probably result in premature parts breakage since it's going to be worse than just dry-firing one.
