Introducing Surface Pro 9 

This is beautiful. The video editor needs a raise. Just wondering how he/she was able to get the perfect music with the transitions. Also, the animations are superb. I will be getting this PC soon!

2x USB C ports are nice, also 120Hz display. 5G connectivity is great for streaming Cloud Gaming. I bet it has also good speakers. up to 2 4K displays, this is a workstation on a tablet form. Great job Microsoft.

Love surface products been using them since the surface pro 2 and the surface tablet that they used to make back in like 2014. Used the surface pro 2 all throughout college until my senior year that I got that brand new surface pro 5 at the time. Surface products came at a perfect time for me when I was in college. That's all I took to college after they came out. Took my notes on it, carried my books with pdfs on it, it was everything in one for me an an engineer student.

Being a video content creator, i wanted to buy this device since last 4 years, yet i couldn't as its expensive for me unfortunately... Anyways, its a fantastic new device & oh the colors 😍 Hopefully, i could buy this some time in future 🤞

I had a fantastic experience with one of the early Surfaces. This looks pretty nice. I have a desktop PC now, but this looks pretty tempting still for my next portable. There's something lovely about this form-factor for a PC, although I'd probably get one of the reasonably priced versions as I compute-intensive tasks belong on a desktop anyways if you have that option.

Before clicking on a "trailer" for a new laptop by Microsoft (Surface), I always think, "Get ready for the best animations," yet I still am amazed each and every time! BTW I have a Surface Laptop 4 and it is Legend, OP, and everything legendary.

Wish they made a 15" version!! That trackpad needs to be bigger as well.

FYI there is a change in IO. There is NO 3.5 MM AUDIO JACK like in the Surface pro 8, and it seems they flipped around the the dual Usb-c ports to the other side. If you're a SP8 owner, this is definitely not worth a upgrade personally.

I think they redesigned the Surface Slim Pen 2 because the Microsoft logo on the pen isn't in the same place as it in real life

Unless something goes wrong, this seems like a very solid device. The animators did an excellent job, and the animations are really smooth. If Microsoft had an alternate of RU-vid, I'd be very willing to switch to Outlook right away. Beautiful.

worst computer I ever bought. The pen dont resposnd, hangs every 5 minutes. Bought it for school use, mostly just get frustrated with it and have to put it aside. Worst investment of my life.

The lack of a headphone jack is a real bummer, so I went ahead and got a Surface Pro 8 instead. My original Surface GO still runs fine but I'm eager to see what its bigger, yet younger, brother can do.

Have been using Surface Pro 6 and loving it. Surface series is really awesome.

I'd love to get the Intel i7 version, with 16 GB RAM and a 512 GB SSD, in blue, with the new Liberty keyboard. It would be such a nice device for those long writing sessions or for taking notes. Well done, Microsoft!

i can't express how disapointed i'm with removing the USB 3 port. USB-C is just useless, the only device i have that comes with type c is occulus quest which i'm pretty sure won't work on surface pro, all of my external hard drives, mouse, keyboard, microphone, printer and midi controls are regular USB ports, even my phone that has a type C port doesn't come with double side typeC port.

Had the SP for the last 10 years, and it's a powerhouse of a machine. But let's be honest, ultrabooks can't really replace laptops or PCs

Had a surface pro 3 and 6, and now am helping a family member set-up their Surface Pro 9. One thing that that has stood out to me is that Microsoft's "touch ecosystem" has gotten progressively worse. With the pro 3 and windows 8/8.1, it felt like Microsoft was putting touch first and there were actually a good number of touch optimised/mobile apps that were as good as, or almost as good as, what you could find on android or iOS. Around the time they gave up on Windows mobile, the momentum for "hybrid" windows died down and went into reverse. Right now, there really aren't anything decent outside of first party apps. Office works really well and for notetaking/drawing its great. But for everything else, the tablet-first experience is not only a massive down-grade from Android/iPad but even Windows from 6/7 years ago.

Unfortunately, the video hides that the 5G version is only available with ARM processors. There is not even a 4G version with Intel processors. Some business software doesn't run or run well on ARM. It is a joke that all comsumer devices (Surface Go, Surface 9 ARM) have mobil connection and the business models don't. I'm constantly on the road and a device without mobile connectivity is useless. After Surface 8 skipped 5G and offered LET only on smaller models I was hoping for Surface 9, which is a great device, but withot mobile connectivity it is another dissapointment. How can marketing talk about the importance of always connected and then only offer a device you can't do serious work with?

No headphone jack, and smaller battery. Flipped the TB4 ports to the left, and the volume/power buttons are back on the top lol from the Pro 4 onwards. Pro 8 had the buttons on the sides, and it had a lot of accidental presses. Otherwise... decent upgrade? I'd like to see the dynamic refresh rate changes.

This ad is so confusing. There are two separate lineup, the arm one, and the intel one, they should make 2 videos. Only the arm one has 5G, and I am not even sure if Android apps are available on arm only, or the intel.

Curious about the battery life claim how will it translate to irl usage. My SP7 gets about 4.5 hours while taking notes in classes.

So I watched this on my Surface Go 2, clicked on it with my Surface Arc Mouse, listened to the incredible sound design through my Surface Headphones and now I'm writing this comment with my surface pen. I think I'm Surface addicted.

I wish they would round the screen corners, it looks odd having a square screen in a rounded case. Also it’s a shame they removed the SD Card slot, so useful. Thinking of getting rid of my new iPad Air because Apple makes no use of the M1 whatsoever and buying this in x86.

wish list for surface pro 10 1. more powerful chip, stronger & more efficient 2. maybe can get rid of the build in hinge/stand due to durability issue. changing a case with hinge/stand is cheaper & easier than changing the back panel. 3. better battery life 4. hopefully able to play triple a games at medium setting when plugged in 5. price not as expensive as a laptop 6. anti reflective & tough screen

Why did you uninstall Minecraft Story Mode? However, we were playing and we could not download the game (in Turkey and at that time) because only some of us did not have enough system requirements. There is also a bit of a problem with the gameplay. It's like a movie, not a game.

I really love the Surface Pro in terms of its 2 in 1 design. I want to own one to replace my productivity laptop and expect the new Surface Pro to improve more in performance, but it still disappoints me. It does not appear to be a Pro, despite its name. I wish Microsoft produced this type of 2 in 1 high-power with Intel P-Series or H-Series processors. and it would be perfect if they let the replaceable SSD be a full-sized M.2 SSD.

So is this one also built to barely last its warranty period like the rest of the surface line up? Owned a pro 3 and 7, both lasted just over 2 years before a known fault killed them, not to mention all the broken typecovers that arent built to withstand daily opening and closing.

All the android apps been supported is good but I'm still a little bit skeptical of windows on arm I also would of preferred a oled screen and a bigger battery for the Intel version but it's still a nice device.

I use surface pro 7. Worst buy so far in my electronics buying history. Super slow. So many problems. Screen flickers, camera problems, pen latency is so high (not useable)... I m trying to sell but buyers :(

Why would anyone want one when they are far to overpriced I just got an email recommendation today from Amazon for one of these with an i7, 16gb ram and 512 ssd for £1899 Where as my Dell XPS 13 with i7, 32gb ram and a 1Tb ssd was only £1799 and you get a full keyboard as well

NOOOO, what have you done with the surface connector on the SP9!?? Why in the middle of the device!? I use my Surface Pro as a desktop replacement and while the surface connector could and should be replaced with a thunderbolt port altogether, since it exists anyway why place it that high!?? That's OUTRAGEOUS!

Why still release 128 Gb disk space as base model? about 40 Gb free space available after install windows + office. I like Surface design but the disk space on base model should be 256 Gb.

Combination of intel 12 th gen plus 5G on the go should be best for a 2 in 1 tab. As its keyboard cover must be purchased separately, someone may wants to us it as a only tab. Here I think surface pro 7 is missing a big feature. The "double tap" to turn on the screen which is available in all android tabs. I hope that Microsoft will bring this feature in surface pro 9

Got a Surface a few weeks ago after wanting one since they first came out. Perfect for my needs as a writer and blogger and has replaced both my laptop and tablet. Can't wait to go traveling with it soon

Surface Pro 9 is the WHORST convertible i have ever possesed. I bought a new sourface pro9 -> software issues. I replaced it with a new surface pro 9 -> other software issues. Microsoft is unable to program software (Win11) that works on their touch devices. I never ever had so many problems like on surface pro 9 (roation mode doesnt work correct, touch keyboard makes only sometimes a sound after system updates, surface pen doest vibrate in onenote per default .... ) Dont buy it. I warned you.🙏 I really dont wish you to do the same mistake, spending your hard earned money on it like i did :((

I use surface Pro 8, and all day battery is totally freak. That only last 4~5 hrs even though it promote it lasts 16 hrs. Addtionally, i bought only 2 weeks ago. Low function, high temperature, little noisy but!!! I think this one is the best for me. What a nonsense.
