I really enjoyed this. I have always enjoyed speech synths on the PC. I designed one for my PCjr many years ago. I used the General Instruments AY-3-8910 with a Vortex SC-01 chip attached to one of the parallel ports of the 8910. It was fun to have the computer speak when it booted to ran my programs.

300,N,7,2 is 300 baud, no parity, 7 data bits, and 2 stop bits.

Phonemes, not 'fe-nomes'. hehehe

Great for pretending to be MC Hawking.
