Aposl & I are so excited to FINALLY announce the first ever in-person Gimvitational on June 16-19! Ft. Riddles, Cosmos, Tweek, Light, Marss, VoiD, Kola, and more! We’re going to use the first big tournament-viable Hazards on / Off Ruleset for the main event! You can help raise the prize pool, unlock awesome goals, and help get top players in through our innovative shop and voting system!
Support players DIRECTLY when you give them votes! 20% of all net profits (including donations) will go towards our player fund. The 20 players who make it to the voting phase will get a percentage of the fund - based on their percentage votes when compared to the overall votes! We’re excited for the event and we hope you are too! Two players will qualify via Kagaribi#7, and six players will get invited through the Voting Phase!

PLEASE have Hazards On Hollow Bastion. It's the perfect replacement of Hazards Off Smashville, and with hazards, we would finally get to see the cool stage transformation in a competitive setting!

@@illford6921 it probably will only be NA + 2 Japanese players. Dont think any of the European or South American players will be invited just because how the voting phase works So in my point of view not even more international than crown

In case pictochat turns out to be jank you could think about the minecraft stage (with hazards off). It too has walls and as far as I know, the ledges there are jank free.

@@SomeoneWeird-vx5jx Eh, a lot of characters become really dumb with certain stages so you could just use one of your bans on the MC stage against Steve. Mario becomes super dumb on Smashville and BF and those aren’t banned.

Finally hazards on. I'm a string advocate for making stages more fun to watch so this is nice, because of PS2 so many memorable moments were found in Melee they weren't all good but sine were cool. I'm sure there's a small amount of transforming stages that dont change too much besides forcing adaptation which isn't bad imo

I think it's unlikely they'll have PS1 or PS2 legal with hazards on. Even Melee now has agreed to have PS1 frozen and PS2's stage transformation are way more chaotic.

I'm going to support the shop for sure. I work with some companies which spend 6-7 figures on their marketing budget, and they can't even create good graphics/video as good as this. this presentation was GOD DAMN PRISTINE. I can tell your blood, sweat, and tears went into this.

@@illford6921 No, they removed it because it was too similar to Battlefield with no hazards, and it has frame drops in doubles. The platforms moving isn't why it's not legal.

@@kais3rkai306 correct me if i'm wrong, but I believe his situation has been resolved in his favour. I think he's only he still banned from tounaments because he's banned on twitch, and appearing live at a tournament would be considered ban evasion. Also, he has said he doesn't want to compete atm, but if he wanted to be at an event he should be allowed

@@splish8869 Resolved isn't the word I'd use. According to Nairo's statement he woke up mid suck. Next day he had a 2nd encounter with Zack and made the conscious decision to receive oral. He went with a cover story instead of going to the proper authorities the day it happened. That right there should be a red flag, but the smash community was stupid enough to unban him anyway. It's interesting how Samsora was banned for being one of the people involved with Nairo's cover story, but Nairo himself gets unbanned. Sidenote, Zero is banned for inappropriately texting a minor. I agree with this ban, but Nairo actually got oral from one and got unbanned. If you think an adult screwing a minor is okay then by that logic you're okay with Keitaro back on smash commentary. Nairo shouldn't be allowed back.
