Introducing the Goodwill Outlet | THE BINS! 

Thank for reminding people how goodwill stores sale items help people with disabilities to become functional in society in the community,thank you!!!!!

I love the way the stores help the blind and hearing impaired get job skills training and that help the people with disabilities learn job skills,so they can try to take care of themselves if need be!!!!! Thank you goodwill. We need a store in tuskegee ala,because they were a blessing for me to get school,church,seasonsal items for my children and household,glad you were a part of our community,was affordable for me!!!!! Appreciate what you are doing,be blessed and be safe,hope you continue to prosper,thanks!!!!!!!!

They should have shown what it's really like to shop the bins. As in when the store is open. I went to the outlet here in Delaware and it was a positively frightening experience. First of all, apparently the public is there with their faces pressed to the doors well before it's open. So finding a cart is impossible if you arrive after the first horde. Then before they let you shop, everyone stands in a line like the starting point of a race. A horn sounds and the frenzy begins. The crowd surges to the bins, and a wild commotion of picking up and flinging down of items starts. Don't linger too long in any spot or you may get shoved along. And so crowded you can scarcely turn around. I commend the people who have the nerves and patience to deal with this and actually find something good to purchase. Of the few times I went, I only bought something once. My anxiety level was through the roof each time, and it just wasn't worth it to go back.

We went to a Goodwill outlet in Denver and it was awful! People were literally standing in-line waiting for the staff to being out new bins. The staff would yell at people to get out of the way, even my husband who happened to be exiting the restroom. When ALL the new bins were brought out, it was like a bad game of musical chairs. People rushed, and I mean rushed, to the new bins, tossing aside stuff as fast as they could, not caring if anything broke or not. Some were yelling at others who came near their pile of stuff that they had selected. I saw two young girls were armfuls of clothes, off in a corner, discarding what they didn’t want.

What part of Georgia is this bin in ?

I wish Texas Goodwill did a better job. They give no insentive and 100% is almost $2 a pound. Toss in a cart and toll it on the scale. So much is damaged when dropping it 15-20' into the bins. You can just hear things shattering as they hit. It's dangerous reaching in because of all the glassware that's broken that way. It's a shame

Are there any Goodwill bins outlets north of Atlanta?

I watch thrift hauls alot and enjoy how people find their treasures. What I don't understand is why goodwill hike up price about the same as retail store price. The reason can't be due to recession bc its a thrift store and people donate everyday. So why the hike in price? Plus, people that work at goodwill get same pay amount as McDonald's so it can't be that. Greed maybe??
