A great addition to the Art lineup. I'd strongly recommend that a video focused on optical performance should be delivered and uploaded in 4K to allow much more detail to be viewed in the astro images. The same concern goes for the sample images on the product page. The low resolution definitely takes away from the customers ability to accurately judge the optical quality.

Not only the resolution, RU-vid has terrible compression of 1080p, basically looks like 720p, so yes, 4K upload is a must.

How much processing goes into the milky way shots ? I'd like to see the raw shots with no editing. Just curious how much light and detail it picks up, raw.

Awesome Piece of Art. I took outstanding Pictures of the Northern Lights. But the Retainer ist a stupid Idea. It might be cool for someone, who wants to use a Heater. But most don´t. You easally could sell Rings to put on instead of a Lens Hood. But now, everybody has to pack his Bag with a EXTRAFAT Glas. Who came up with this Idea? And why was noone there to stop him? Anyway it is so awesome, that I have to recommend it.

Hi! Thanks for the question. The new 20mm F1.4 DG DN | A has 17 elements in 15 groups while the 20mm F2 DG DN | C has 13 elements in 11 groups. Hope that helps!
