Meet our 2023 spring resident fellows! Kristin Amerling, Negah Angha, Congresswoman Jaime Herrera Beutler, Quentin Fulks, Matthew Raymer, and Jason Rezaian bring diverse experiences in politics, global affairs, and journalism to the IOP this semester.
Throughout the spring semester, our fellows will lead in-person, not-for-credit study groups on topics including the upcoming presidential election cycle, diplomacy and statecraft, international journalism, and managing a modern political campaign.
The Resident Fellows Program has been a cornerstone program since the founding of the Institute of Politics in 1966 and bridges the academy with practitioners of politics and civic engagement. Each semester, the IOP invites prominent elected officials, activists, journalists, and public servants to spend a term at Harvard and to share their experiences with students exploring important public issues along with a distinguished cohort of their peers. Resident fellows live on campus and engage with students by leading a study group, participating in IOP programming, holding office hours, and serving as a resource to Harvard students and faculty.
