Ok peeps, let's set the record straight.... Patrick did the demo, he has hairy arms, Anna did the live performance and does not have hairy arms! One Love! :)
Hairy arms who cares ?? What we want is hairy sounds and dirty possibilities !! And you delivered 😘 I hope a Stymon Big Sky clone and a FM synth (DX7 ??) are next but if you have some new gifts(synths) for christmas I'll take it 😉
Any behringer so far I have got is better build quality then some Roland I have or used to have. Btw I live in working class British house split into 2 flats. I would not hesitate if behringer made house, it would probably have gear builded into the walls
@@Cray23_Official - Agreed! - Behringer has come a long way in the quality department and with a 3 year warranty that puts them standing by their products.
@@Cray23_Official I really dig the Behringer stuff. I have no issues with their build quality. My comment was more directed at China's lack of environmental health oversight. Formaldehyde in sheet rock, etc. Trust me, I'd love an inexpensive home, too. My wife, myself and our teen love in a 28 foot travel trailer. 3 years now. Ugh.
and remember you don't JUST have to do acid with it. You can make 80s synth pop with it too! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-P3jG5x7yCrI.html even though it's not on stage haha
BEHRINGER, I'm not gonna lie, i've done studio work in the past and left it a while back, after seeing you bringing back the RD-8, Neutron and Crave I'm coming back and buying these 3 to start with. Keep up the great work you are doing and keep bringing us these amazing synths. JUNO-6 and a DX-1 would be killer remakes as well. 😍😍
head over heels in love at within the first minute of the vid.. sadly not available on thomann.. have to refresh until i can order it.. the very last sequence is dopee!! Behringer. my new best friend :)
Behringer, please do some quality control. First it started with the Crave, replaced with 3 units: all wobbly. Bought the TD-3: wobbly and noisy. Replaced it for one without these issues, but this time about 5 buttons are defective (not able to press them down)..
Lol i like the lipstick thing, was very cool. Red looked best 👍🏻 this thing is perfect for am acid lead. I cannot believe how affordable it is! For the price of a plug in? Im off to buy one right now!
Ok, i would buy one just because i grew up with this sound and to jam around. But seriously who's gonna use this for nowadays music? Or is there the next Acid wave coming along and i still didn't get it?
It is possible add an external eurorack oscillator into the filter in to make more coloreful bass tones? Or beeing just a filter in (not a vca in) option reduce the chance for this
Hi Behringer! I have a huge request. I figure since you guys have PROVEN that you listen to your customers, that this is worth a shot. First things first, THANK YOU for being the BEST!!! Now with that said, here goes... I LOVE the new TD-3 and I am ordering the blue one. However, I can't help but feel that one of greatest aspects of the TB-303 and other small synths like this are the option to be BATTERY POWERED!!!!! When a synth is this small, it BEGS to be taken out and about with headphones to jam!!!! I really think that you guys missed the mark on that. I'm sure it was to cut costs, but I know I would GLADLY pay $50 to $100 more for the TD-3 to be BATTERY POWERED!!!!!!!! Please please please please please please please PLEASE release a battery powered version and charge whatever extra you need for that to happen!! You could call it the TD-3B. I can pretty much GUARANTEE that it would outsell the original TD-3! Thank you for taking the time to read this. You guys and gals ROCK!!!
I've just got one today and after about 2 hours of playing with it the sound cut off and now I can't get any sound out of it, is there some way to reset the unit? It was amazing for 2 hours and now nothing
Roland: Behringer isn't releasing a convincing tb-303 clone. 6ix9ine: Yeah they are! Roland: Anything else ? 6ix9ine: Behringer is gonna clone every classic analog synth ever made and sell it dirt cheap!
I know this is going to be buried because there's already so many comments but... It sounds like there's a bit of delay on the audio yet you didn't include one on the unit. I'm guessing because it would be too similar to Roland's offering?
Mad with Sonic Powaaaaaaaaa. But for reAL THO, power from the people (customers) will always trump (pun intended hahahhahaa) any other power presumed to be superior
All that matters is behringer is answering the crys of poor musicians the world over, making good, fun, equipment be it clones or original, anyone who hates on that is either stoopid or stuck up... Well done to the bRinger team... Keep it going.. Time for some sampling groovemachines @BEHRINGER
A big reason that nobody has done a proper JP-8 clone is the many calibration points. Further, putting it all on a surface-mount economical PCB won't behave the same as the discrete layout of the original, surely. I mean, there's a freaking TDK noise-reduction unit encased in shiny chrome box that is just bolted to the inside of the thing! The lo-Z outputs' dynamic range is greater; and many more. Many different circuits are interacting to make the resultant JP-8 sound. I've got a CS-60 here as well - ALL of the early 'Big Polys' are super-complicated and temperamental, so they sound and ~behave~ very differently than anything new/reliable does.
They've been printing get money for years and years! How do you think they were able to buy up all the knowledge required to build all these camping sounding cheap as chips synths!?
The point is, that Suisse guy made a milestone in history - a 303 for everyone! This is what Roland did not take care about all those years ... shame on you Roland ...
Hey Behringer I bought all your synths can you please clone all the overpriced & unobtanium processors/fx like the LA-2A/1176/DBX160/LEX224/480/PULTECEQP-1a oh and can you make an SSL 4000 clone for $1000 please
@@paulpsilas294 I have all three of them and while accuracy might not be perfect the quality it brings to the sound is. Sadly their forray into 500 series is less up there. Some buzzy and uninspired stuff. For that I rather take some Bart HRK EQs any time of the day
Wavestation, SY99, CR78, Space Echo, Korg Minipops (forget that one). Behringer Ondioline! One that you smack on the side to get vibrato out of it, with a couple of spare curtain rings. Behringer Ondioline! Uli!!!
@@ftj4441 I have a dbx 163 and it's over easy is too massive sometimes. The klarks are more what you expect from old gear. The give it Heft and weight in a smooth way. Definitely worth checking out
This synth is a BEAST! It's all over new records I'm putting out next year (2021) and it's completely changed the way I approach making music now. Cheers, Behringer!
LoL you must be living on different planet mate, if I look on crave which cost me £137 it’s solid build like tank and sound is so gorgeous that all those tiny volkas don’t stand a chance. As I see it is, we were always ripped off by Roland, korg, Yamaha since tech moved on so prices should go down but no, in their cases prices go up and feature set is dumber then 20 years ago. I do expect to be really good as crave is or any other behringer synth
@@rustyhex9899 Not unless Behringer have cloned the now obsolete ba662 vca. Most is just discrete components Standard transistors etc. I'm sure they have done their homework on trying to replace obsolete components.
@@rustyhex9899 that's about what they went for when the original just came out. They're only so expensive these days because not a lot of them were made.
No mention of the “Wink”, huh. Cannot help but think, “higher state of consciousness”, when ever I see a tb303 or clone. Tempted to get one just for that alone 😅
Was the last track at 5 am at our club revival evening ... and I can swear to you all people got totally crazy knowing it‘s the last track of this wonderful evening and enjoying all the good memories of the past ... peace and ❤️ with the help of 303 ... 😉
I created a song with the TD-3 playing the bass, lead and fills - non acid style. Pretty flexible actually. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-g8xRUeA6KU0.html Let me know what you think.
Behringer: the company that transformed from making mixers that made DJs want to commit suicide to making high quality clones of discontinued analog gear.
So Acid and Jungle are coming back, this will make a new wave of Electronic Music hopefully a hybrid genre other than the ones mention before. At that price, You cannot afford to NOT own one ☝️

@@Sharkwhisperer Definitely a modern delay, like the Obscura, also I think a little pitch shifting, flanging, and a good quality Phase pedal. Of course you could use these effects together, but I would mix them through a mixer and blend to taste. Another effect I think that has been ignored these days, is the ring modulator. I use the on board ring mod in my Yamaha AN1X, and it really adds a biting edge to arps and sequences. Love these classics being revamped, Good day my friend !
I just got this unit and I love it to pieces. Thanks for making the TB-303 available to working musicians that don't make a boatload of money. The distortion circuit was such a nice touch. Siete i migliori, grazie di tutto, e questo TD-303 spacca di brutto!
Hilarious and brilliant way to announce a synth. I am so excited, it feels like Christmas has come early. I also loved the lipstick colour reference, that was a cool idea.
Ever tried playing 303 MIDI through a guitar emulator? Just keep randomising the pattern till you get a mental punk guitar riff. Then, in pitch mode......
@@positionnormal I take the point, but they are as good clones as the originals, some with major improvement on the original designs. And they are very inexpensive for what you get, the build quality has been excellent so far. Behringer only started making synths 4 years ago, give 'em a chance! :)
@@ALL_ONE_SUN I don't know about the TD3, I meant Behringer's recent stuff, the Deepmind, the Odyssey, the TD8, all have improvements in the functions of what they're based on. I'd love a 303 with the random function that's on Roland's Cloud 303, think that's just great. Gonna look up that 303 you mentioned, hadn't heard of that.
@@ftj4441 There's one on the MC101 sequencer which works brilliantly, but that digital. Random play is just a sequencer algorithm, it's not difficult to add, even to a cheap 303. Maybe you should give it a try before 'laughing out loud' matey.
That was excellent , really good fun! Great way to launch this synth!! Thanks for making this available( & affordable!).....tiny complaint....please make a yellow one😍
Behringer..you are just killing it. If this year is an example of what the future holds, you are going to have to clone a Tardis for us all to have somewhere to keep all this sweet gear. An impressive turnaround of a company, very impressive.
How do you guys at Behringer not get into any trouble with the other synth companies? As you're making so many different quality pieces of equipment, and giving them to us for such good prices. You'd think that the other synth makers would get all touchy about it coz they want us to still pay them thousands, but Behringer is the way to go forward for sure!!!!!
Deep Mind 12, Neutron, Odyssey, RD8, now this!!! I should just cut the red tape and have my salary go directly to Behringer each week...I'm sure I'll also "need" the MS, K2 and Pro as well at some stage too.....
Honestly yeah, they wanted the resale price to be extortionate just so if they come back, they would make ridiculous profit from it. Behringer have now taken the market at a reasonable price point and I couldn't be happier.
I got mine for $80 . Some guy at my job said he didn’t know how to use it. I offered $80 and he said no. Two weeks later he asked if I was still down for the $80 ha. This was about 1 year ago.
THANK YOU for mentioning THE SHAMEN. Maybe, just maybe, one day they’ll get the recognition they deserve. *Blasts South Of Detroit Acid remix of Ebeneezer Goode...*
I have to say I appreciate Behringer having a woman present it. Out of 1,838,153 synth videos I’ve watched on RU-vid I think I’ve seen maybe 3 at most with a woman in it. There’s a lot of us ladies out here that love and play synths, ya know! 💖🎹🎼
Eh the woman who did the wasp was terrible. She had no clue how to handle it and had the resonance up full blast the whole video . The moral? Sex shouldn’t determine who demos the product. Skill is all that matters. But y’all gotta be sexist.
If I play live with the rd8 and connect the td3 with midi nothing happens. Even with the clock out to sync in on the td3 I cant get them linked. No instructions nowhere. Roland you connect and they work together. Where can I find how to get them to work in sync together?
I love what Behringer is doing with synths these days. Makes me feel better about options if anything ever happens to my one vintage synth (Prophet-600). Would love to see more vintage synth repros, but especially something polyphonic. I have absolutely no interest in rhythm machines, though. Happy for people who do.
Read today's article about Devil Fish....So Mr.Whittle wanted to charge TWICE AS MUCH for the TD-3-DF ....did he not see the video on Uli's philosophy. I tried to see Uli's reply about this on Gearsluts but it isn't available.
I love you, Behringer! Such a fantastic promotional video! 100% got me up & moving the second I heard this little analog acid beast start up! A+++++++++++++++++++++++++++
