As showcased at bauma, the 4.2 tonne machine is now in production and is the smallest in its popular dual view range.
In the second of our seven episode ‘Big Wacker Neuson Visit’ Peter Haddock operated one of the first production models on a visit to its Linz factory in Austria, walking around the machine with product specialist Florian.
Key highlights include:
- All the dual view benefits in a smaller 4,2 tonne capacity compact machine powered by a StageV 36kW Perkins Engine.
- New operator features include one button cab rotation, which can even be rotated while driving.
- Multi-View mode option to turn the cab sideways for an overview of the side of the machine and the skip.
- Great stability with a built-in tilt monitoring system that warns the operator visually and acoustically if the machine is in an unsafe position to unload.
- Hydrostatic all-wheel drive with ECO mode.
- Push button automatic skip return to its original position
- Hillhold function preventing the machine from rolling back.
- Cameras in both travel directions visible on a 7 inch screen are also supported by a screen washer.
Peter: “And being a novice operator, the air-conditioning that comes as standard was very welcome on a hot day when filming took place, as was the comfort of the seat.”
