Hello, Steve! Since this is a livestream, I am not sure you are going to see this comment, so I may post the content of this message somewhere else you could see if this gets to be the case. Your reply to this comment is appreciated! My name is Ramissés, and I have been watching and studying the anti-suffering community for years now, and your work frequently reappears for me, especially since you seem to be a big voice on the antisuffering community nowadays. I know you used to follow efilism, but nowadays you shifted your philosophy towards extinctionism. I am personally neither of them, so there are plenty of things I disagree and agree with your philosophy, but we both seem to share the realization that suffering is the ultimate evil of reality, so although I personally don't compactuate with extinctionism, I am definitely sympathetic with the goal of wanting to reduce suffering and potentially eliminate it completely! However, I'm here to constructively criticize the methodology of your activism, which I consider to be very harmful. Seems like you acknowledge the importance of convincing people about your worldview, but I really don't see how you can accomplish something good by being extremely rude on your videos. It doesn't seem effective at all how you start almost every video by calling people from the comment section of your previous video as idiots or morons. In my view, not only is this blatantly inefficient, but it's also damaging to your community. You are basically encouraging people to incorporate the same behavior as you, and that really stretches the space for philosophical development and for the general growth of your movement. Another thing is that you seem to be very arrogant and intellectually dishonest in some of your videos. There are more examples, but the best one is the one you pose against the animal liberation. Animal liberation is not just carelessly release animals into the wild and that's it It's to free them from the conditions in slaughterhouses specifically. Come on, Steve! You can do better than this. Seeing your videos I can tell your movement is genuinely a subproduct of what you believe to be right, so that's why I believe you are going to acknowledge my criticism. Some of the mistakes you commit are just too bad for you to ignore. Please don't turn yourself and your community into Inmendham 2.
