Each time my guitar needs to be tweaked I come back to this video to refresh my understanding of neck relief. It is the most concise and straightforward explanation I have found. Thank you, Kevin!
I really dig these kind of videos where we can see schemas and understand the physics of the guitar. I have a pretty good guitar and still have fret buzz at times and listening to your videos, I feel that the problem is the player. I've set my guitar per the instructions you did offered, I must admit that measuring neck relief with a feeler gauge is kinda had for me since those measurements are so tiny, I'm using musicnomad feeling gauges. I guess that just dont quite get what "lite touch" really is. I think a demo on that part of the equation would be well received. I mean, how "lite" is "lite" lol ?
Thank you for this helpful video. If I’ve already messed with the action at the bridge and also the neck relief how can I return my guitar to a good baseline? Thanks!
