I once learned to play a few chords from some Oasis songs years ago. I am very excited to follow this series and appreciate your guidance. I had never heard that tip of assigning numbers to your fingertips. That is a pro tip. A minor has a very familiar and haunting tune to it. Almost Celtic in nature. G Sounds so familiar and popular.

Nice, with (G, Am, C, D, Em) + (F, Bm, A, E) and a capo we can make a good base guitar for voice with a buuunch of musics!!!! The first 5 chords are the most used in G Major, so with a capo we can transpose these shapes to any Tune! (I, II, IV, V, VI) a good advice to beginners is to put the finger close as possible to the end of the fret, so they can make it sounds good applying less force as possible!!! Very nice, keep posting, please!!!

Great job Brooke, I started playing guitar about 8yrs ago. Like you, RU-vid was a great resource to learn. I don't consider myself perfect and far from it. But i love strumming to my favoite songs. Looking forward to learn more.

I can only play basic chords but not brilliant, but can play a few songs and written a few. I love your voice and would be interested in how you write songs in my case, I sort of write a poem and work on the tune. How do you do it? I also try and start with a chorus and work backwards lol . Super proud of all you have achieved to date, singing and writing songs for others. Way to go Brooke. You will go much further up the ladder, I know it.
