@@drawingboard82 I have seen plenty of videos on this, hence my question. Very funny and revealing that you refer me to THE BBC, as tho THEY are impartial. 😆 The type of plastics used makes recycling too costly, so they are dumped "out of the way" of prying eyes....except on Google Earth that is.
You're welcome! Good question. I'm actually not sure on that one but I suspect the answer is no because dc wont have a power factor. However a HVDC link obviously requires a lot of additional equipment such as rectifiers, filters and inverters.
