I remember high school - It was never like this. I think these scripts are written by people who wish that their experiences in high school were like this. Face it though, the attractive girls in high school didn't crush on the introverts or the awkward boys, they were attracted to the bullies and the jocks and the metalheads and the skater punks. Lots of unrequited love that turns to bitterness in high school and beyond.
that's what I was going to point out. the introverts are usually the invisible ones, the hot girls don't even know they exist. I was thinking "who wrote this dribble"
And it's all because they care so much about their image and status among other students. You date douches, everyone thinks you're some goddess or something. And they know that whatever they have between them won't last for long, heck if it lasts for a whole school year, it's a wonder...
Idk man, undeniably I was banging the hottest girl in my hs as a freshman when she was a jr. I was a dork who loved to read epics. She never really cared about looks. I think sometimes it’s very rare but when a girl knows just how attractive she is she doesn’t care. At least this one told me how much she hates the constant flirts and compliments. A dork that didn’t know what to say was refreshing ig
For those wondering what happened to Kate. She writes Rusty a letter from rehab apologizing for thinking that Rusty could be the one to fix her. She explains that she needs to be the one to fix her and she needs time to work on herself and hopes one day she'll become a person that deserves to be with someone like him.
I miss the part where thats my problem... For real though: this ONLY happens on fictional multiverses. The real nerds on the comments are telling the truth.
Movies like this make me so glad that my family is incredibly boring. My parents are still married after over 45 years. I've been married to my childhood sweetheart for nearly 25 years. We lost my father-in-law a few years back rather suddenly, but he and my mother-in-law had a great marriage until the day he died. There's basically no family drama at all. I love my boring life.
@@DineshSingh-rg3kl Uh, my wife HATES drama. It's not a "girl" thing; some people like drama, some people don't. There are plenty of guys who are drama queens. Evaluate the individual for who they are, not on the basis of what they are.

No family will ever be perfect but it is one that will give to you joyous memories, life values and lessons that will stay with you until the end. And despite how much it will hurt or how one struggles with achieving one’s dreams they are there to remind you always of who you are.
What? Dude, this is like a 3/10 on the f'd up story scale. The only things really messed up is the dad banging the neighbor and stalking his ex-wife and Kate's addiction issue, everything else is relatively standard.
Love doesnt come back once its gone. It just leaves a hole that doesnt get filled again. It just hurts more and more. Till the pain forces you to end it and life yourself.
hey.... don't be so negative. I am a 17 year old boy, been through many marriages and divorces. Love comes and goes, it's natural. Also love doesn't have to be romantic, even strangers can do actions out of love. There's love everywhere, not just in romance.
Don’t you wish life was like this? My exhusband cheated and abandoned me and my kids. Though unlike Bill I don’t set a plate for him every occasion because knowing him I know he won’t come back and knowing myself I know I won’t take him back either however, I am waiting for a new love. Maybe one day.
@@HINDUTVASAVARKAR he cheated on her. CHEATED. There is no excuse for cheating, bet you wouldn't want to know a woman's side of story if she cheated on her husband.
i really wish high school was like this. sadly, most of the time the attractive girls dont have feelings for the quiet/shy/introverted people, but only for the popular boys... :( i was a shy guy at high school. if i recall no one spoke to me or did anything to me, but i got super popular because of this lol.
Damn, an scenario where Jennifer Connelly and Lily Collins are ralated... freaking perfect genes family. Edit. And Kristen Bell is in the movie too!? the director sure knew what he was doing.
I just watched it and how in the nuggets have I never seen this movie? 10 years later lol. I have never seen a movie like this. The pacing was so unique.
Even though as a young boy I was always a little nervous around other girls so I always kinda felt like a nerd but my day is coming that someday just someday I'll have a beautiful girl in my life who will treat like a person and not a wacko
I’ve watched this quite a few times but man at 0:48 never even realized that was Glen Powell who played the fighter pilot “Hangman” in Top Gun Maverick
