Introverted Intuition Explained With Examples (Ni). In this video we explain what introverted intuition is with examples. You'll learn what Ni stands for and where they are used in the Myers Briggs personalities.
All of us can tap into our intuition when we want to, but for some, this happens very easily and naturally.

Does anyone else feel 50% smarter and find that their thinking improves after gaining a better understanding of themselves, their personality, and being aware of their usual thinking patterns instead of acting unconsciously? I believe that once you identify and acknowledge your thought processes, your Ni (Introverted Intuition) becomes even more powerful.

As an ESTJ this is proof that intuition is indeed my blindspot. I do agree that repetition can be boring, I can delve a little into the abstract because of extraverted intuition, and I don't have a big ego. But most of it I couldn't relate to less.

Everything said in this video is true. The description of the intuitive introvert belongs to Carl Jung. Dostoyevsky also described this type in his work The Idiot. Scientific materialism leaves no room for such people, but the paradigm is changing now.

@@wscieklyjimmy9234 If we compare Carl Jung's description of types with the main character in Dostoyevsky's novel The Idiot, we can find many similarities. However, Dostoevsky deliberately idealized his hero and made him resemble Jesus Christ. One of the brightest representatives of intuitive introverts is Friedrich Nietzsche. A prophet of German disaster.

I am an introverted intuitive and we are the rarest personality types on Earth. Intuition is well developed "ESP". I can walk into a complex situation or problem and immediately understand the situation and the problems inherent in the situation. I then must use my rational thinking function to build up the facts and logic to explain my perceptions to others. This resulted in me developing a very strong thinking function over the years. My intuition is never wrong. In this age, at this time, my intuition tells me that humanity is going extinct soon from climate change and ecological degradation. There is no stopping it. Forget 2050 and 2100 like the scientists were predicting. There won't be another human being standing in 3-4 years (by 2026). I don't say this to scare anyone but only to put the truth out there so people can prepare.

How do autistic ppl fit into that? I am autistic level 2 and I know things before being able to explain the process of thinking, but it does exist. So I wrote a book on economics. My favorite subject , were I explain Economic processes and variables and equations and all . I was very good in math so it just fits into it.

That is a curious observation. This is actually where I connected with this video the most. What made it seem creepy to you? I'm just curious, no judgment or anything and you don't have to answer or anything. I have been seen as creepy or odd because of my intuitive nature. Being two steps ahead can get you in trouble sometimes and isn't everyone's cup of tea.

These are pretty generalized, I'm not surprised. Individualism can be connected to Fi. Abstractions are connected to intuition- period. That includes imagination, and daydreaming. Focusing on the future can be a Ni critical parent feature. Not being able to explain your thought process can be concluded from being unskilled in articulating your thoughts. And the question, "why" is one that collects information to find the root of a problem. It's a necessity- This video was unhelpful due to how generalized it is. So, yeah- you could be mistyped as the "-t" part of your typing indicates you took the 16 personalities test (which is more inaccurate then not) but also- its very possible you can just find a connection to every point said in the video.

Intuition is not the right path. Intuition is evil. It is a gift from satan after the fall of humanity. God never intended for his kids to be mystics or play God. He intended for humanity to enjoy themselves through simple sensory delights. How can you tell when a sunset is beautiful if youre lost in thought? Try to remember a beautiful sunset. If you cant, then there has to be some adjustment in your life. We are not living for ourselves and for the purpose of just imagining things. Our purpose as humans is to be humble and grateful of the beauty that surrounds us. The only way that can be achieved is through sensory delights

This video explained it wrong. In terms of cognitive function, Ni is not mystic. If your primary function is sensory, then your third function is intuitive, and vice versa. Intuitives are planners that use patterns, and probability. They also are good at applying abstract thinking to solve problems by unconventional methods when conventional means isn't viable. It's not magic. I can see how it might seem that way to an ESFJ, or ISFP who have intuition as their last function.

⁠⁠⁠@@qua7771if your primary function is sensory, than your inferior (4th) function is intuition, as in the case of Si and Se dominants. ESFJs and ISFPs are primary feelers with 3rd function slot intuition, Ne for ESFJs and Ni for ISFPs. Everything else you said about Ni, and intuition generally, is correct. Ni has a certain mystique ascribed to it due to its focus on accessing unconscious elements of the mind, utilizing abstract imagination and relying on conjecture to come to its conclusions. However, it is by no means magic, it is just a cognitive process that, as you said, uses patterns, probability and abstract thinking; Ne does so more consciously while Ni does so subconsciously. Ne is divergent in nature, extrapolating things from a singular point to a wider context, while Ni is convergent, seeing the myriad threads of data and synthesizing them together to draw one neat conclusion. It’s understandable that these processes of perception are misunderstood when they are not purely rational and a smaller portion of the population uses them as their dominant or auxiliary function.
