The rest of the description is gonna be me yapping, so only proceed if you care.
First things first, let me get something out of the way. This level was verified and recorded by @mbed1. I was originally gonna verify it myself, but ended up getting sick right when I finished the level. I still tried and got 87% x2 and 89% x3 (first of the two last jumps, it's now 86% since I slightly moved the end trigger). But then had to stop grinding for health reasons. When I got better I got swamped with work, so in order to not delay the level for too long, I 'hired' mbed as a backup verifier. The thought was simple: "Let's see who beats it first." and well, he did. I still plan to beat the level myself once it gets rated, but for now this is a pleasent outcome for me as a creator for once.
Now as for the level. This level came to be after a collab I made a part for got dropped and I had enough of unfinished levels, so I decided to make my own. This level is inspired strongly by music of artists I like. The visuals are directly inspired by @BlindVoid's fantastic original songs. I always loved the visuals for the songs "Mind of a Fortress", "Walking on Rain" and "God of Gray", with Walking on Rain being my personal favorite song. And once upon a time while listening to the viby music, I thought it would be cool to make a GD level with similar visuals. The collab part was originally a version of the Mind of a Fortress visual style, but with a static background. However when it came time to make it into a full level, I started from scratch since the collab part wouldn't do for my standards. The depth in the song visuals was probably the main wow factor, so revamping the background was a must. Three of the visual styles are directly inspired by Boid's visuals, but the green style is my own spin on the song 'Everglade'.
If you are reading this Boid, I hope you like this little tribute of sorts, I am looking forward to that little game you are working on, always up for more of your good stuff.
The other direct connection is to the song artist @maritumix, who is my favorite composer of all time. You should seriously check them out! Every single track of theirs is wonderful and I love the energy of their songs.

When it came time to build a level, it was a little difficult to get used to all the new stuff in the game, but I think I got the gist of it rather quickly. It was a pretty fun process and I am happy with the end result. It's easily my best level gameplay wise and visually.

And @DenisDispPanov for just helping throughout the creating process, despite me bullying him over New Artwork.
Enjoy the level, it's hard. Might be low extreme, I found it harder than Cataclysm personally.
