This may be not only one of the most technically impressive levels of all time but also one of the best. It's not always that you see a level that is "technically impressive" but also has soul. This wipes every hyperrealist piece of slop out of existence

I truly fell in love with this level. It has everything i adore: - interesting gameplay - outstanding atmosphere - complex effects - consistent style - banger song - poetic soul this is what i would actually call robbed from mythic, 10/10 (giving pixelpath II a side eye)

Let me tell you that : this is my 2nd favorite level in the entire game Everything feels so unique, special, from the start to the end.. and the music fits so well, I mean, it makes sense now..
Great level, I was really fascinated with the poem though - it's very well written and I actually don't fully understand what you mean and it's making me feel dumb lol. Firstly, if present reality does not align with that which was preordained, wouldn't that imply the opposite of a divine truth, as would have been preordained by any given deity? Hence, why would this comment be viewed as if written by a "believer of deities", as is dismissed in the next stanza? I take the "meaning equates to truth" part to highlight that one's given reality is subject to preconceived views and notions - this most likely tying in to the overall question of morality and how this, too, may be viewed subjectively, which is debatable: one could argue that if so many largely reached the same conclusions about what is morally correct independently of one another millennia ago, moral truth may be a universal one inherent to human consciousness as a byproduct that happened to be confluent with evolution. Perhaps this universal truth of morality was being described by you in the following paragraph, where you describe how just the fact that one is the sole ruler over one's own morality does not imply that said view differs from that of another, but this seems to directly contradict the statement that the only truth is that there is no truth. Does this imply the fabrication of morals in the grand scheme of things? That there is no meaning, just as there is no truth, because both concepts are fabrications of the human mind and don't exist independently without it? Also the statement that the only truth is that there is no truth is a paradox, no? In the next paragraph, you describe how chasing something outside of finding freedom in one's thoughts is pointless, as nothing exists outside of them. I can agree that finding peace in thought can beget freedom regardless of one's external environment, but if one has a goal that allows for, say, freedom of artistic expression - as in creating this level, for instance, which can be described as a product that is "larger than" the creator, so to speak, due to how many others it reaches, such as myself - and that gives them the freedom in thought they ultimately desire, is this still in vain? What I'm saying is: can one not achieve freedom in thought through external means which, consequently, equate to a pursuit of freedom in chasing something larger than oneself? Are you essentially arguing that freedom from goals and extrinsic motivators is the only path to reaching a sense of peace with oneself? If thought is meant to be free of such external factors, however, and only focus inwardly in reaching freedom in consciousness, can it really change on a whim like circumstance? Although I see that in the last lines of that paragraph you imply that none of it matters, as all such freedoms would still be fabrications, existentially speaking. If such freedoms would exist in one's conscious perception, however, I would argue that for a given individual, freedom unaltered by such existential thinking would be ideal, rather than "frightening", even if seen as short-sighted by some, no? I like the final paragraph, tying in such views of morality - whether a universal reality or a subjective one - as fictional and uninfluenced by any divine predilections as well as painting the purveyor of such thoughts as a menace, as is ultimately true and an apt comparison. Honestly, I really enjoyed interpreting this poem and I genuinely thought it was taken from some 17th century text - I didn't find it so I came here to see if you wrote it, which you did. I can't remember the last time I couldn't grasp someone's meaning for so long and I still don't really think I do, fully; you're a really intelligent person and I hope you know that!

I always use to admire people who make both music and GD levels. You have reached a point where you represented your own ideas in the best way possible. Creating something like this isn't something easy at all. All the effects and the songs are nice. Good job. tell greg that you made a good job

The creative gameplay gimmicks, the amazing decoration, the banger of a song (that YOU made, mind you), and the message behind the level honestly leads me to believe that this is the best list demon, if not the best extreme demon out there. This clearly deserves Mythic more than Ascension to Heaven and Kocmoc Unleashed in my opinion. The fact it got Epic rating is a crime in itself.
Already commented on Whizkid's video but you're seriously so talented. The track is beautiful, I love the way you gave it a existential meaning (i really like that kind of stuff) and how it sounds. It's really really unique and I specially love 1:32, it's so pretty and feels so cohesive with the poem you wrote (i really like it too btw, will read it a few more times when watching the level again). About the level, the gameplay is really different from all the other things I've seen and you were really original. I specially think 2:15 will be one of the most memorable parts of the level, probably the first thing that comes to mind to most people when mentioning it. That means you did a great job and that you really made a unique part and overall a unique level. I'm looking forward to play this, I hope I get the motivation and start playing it, Whizkid made it seem so hard lmao Btw I read your description of the track on Newgrounds and I'm happy you're still proud with the whole second build up and drop, they sound amazing and they stand out a lot, especially with the parts of the level that go with them
This level is a real godsend bro, like it's so grandeur and inexplicable, something i haven't seen for a long time. I also want to draw some similarities between the level and the Rainshower music video(and more from Silentroom), as they depict something so sublime and uncontrollable that it's even overwhelming to think of. (edit: I just wanna say that Halcyon by Creo gives off similar vibes(yeah I just add cuz it's pretty cool)) In my humble opinion, I believe that it is just... utter chaos. Randomness. Forces of nature that human has to fall back on legends and myths to explain. Like there's just some events so random and unfortunate that it's like some monsters from higher dimensions messing with us. It's always a spectacle to witness a kind of visualization so accurate to the description of chaos. I might say it's mind-boggling, reality-bending even (is that even a word lol), especially as we stand face to face with one such entity - the reflection of the altered self. The moment when it shows its true colors was extremely eerie and unsettling to me (partly thanks to the incredible soundtrack too). It's real form is only revealed in the end, in its full glory, but it has always been there, meddling with ourselves, detracting from our glorious beauty, making us act out of character, against our principles, even derailing us. I like the implication that the alternate personality goes hand in hand with the self, that it is impossible to reject as part of a person himself. This level is truly a masterpiece. From the first walkthrough, I instantly knew that it was more than meets the eyes, and the more I watched, the more I realized how deep it goes. Tbh it was really fun to see how the story just unfurled itself as I tried to figure out its meaning, and to notice some very neat details that you put into the level. This is just a brief summary, and also quite an unorganized one, of my interpretation of the level. I might write a full-fletched review/analysis once I get round to in the future, but no promises for now. (and dw it won't be a Viprin type review) So until I figure out the whole thing (including the poem ig), it's JUST A THEORY!! :P But seriously I love this level a lot and did I mention it's awesome? I hope you can keep up the amazing work in the future!
This might sound disappointing, but ngl if I decide to do that in the future it will take at least a few months. I am entering college now so I'd be quite busy, besides I'm not even a native english speaker and I rarely write so it will take me way too much time. For now, I'd encourage anyone who have enough time and experience on this stuff to take over that. If they base it on my comment then cre is optional, cuz I dont want too much attention (not yet lol)
