The haptic feedback looks so cool!!!! That would be real INTUITIVE! Does it also have clamping feedback? Like is there any difference when grasping soft and hard things, or thin and thick stuff?
Dr. Vidali-l found you a few years ago on here…too late. I had an open myomectomy for fibroids and Stage IV endo by a very inexperienced doctor. I was horribly botched-I know docs don’t like that word, but the mental and physical consequences have been unspeakable. I emerged with a severely damaged ovary, a salpingectomy I did not consent to, the other tube over-filled with dye which shut down, and after suspecting my estrogen supply died shortly after the surgery, I’ve just been diagnosed with menopause. I’m 44. I need a hysterectomy but am told a bowel resection is in order. I’m so terrified and emotionally distraught. If I go through with it, I’d love to consult with you.

Still looks un-ergonomic with the pigeon hole head insert. You still have to lean forward it looks like and have to remove your hands everytime you want to slightly adjust. Surgeons must be loosing there voices by the end if the day shouting to bedside staff or bedside staff trying to work out what they are saying must get anouyed. Must be a hard for people training to use and watching surgeries it's hard to see what happening with the hands or collaborate with the surgeon or trainee. Seems very large and bulky not what we have come to expect in todays tech.
You can adjust the head piece ant any height and angle. Headpiece contains a microphone no need to scream. No need to look at the hands. Do you look at the feet of somebody driving a car?
Seems like a good solution, the main problem with the current console is the ergonomics for the surgeon, they were constantly looking down which created neck and back issues. Hopefully the new refresh (it looks like a big Apple vision to me) will provide not just the comfort for the surgeon, but the new tech have better ICG, and Ultra sound features as well as incorporate 8K stereoscopic 3D *LoL I like how they put on the robot monitor, the surgeon can teach, when in reality it's for the doc that has to scrub out during setup because a circulator doesn't know how to drive the robot 😅
