Because it is very well balanced. Good family values, interesting storyline, reasonable level of cruelty, great characters and their evolution and absolutely wonderful music. This show is one of the very best. And YashaHime is a great successor of InuYasha. So InuYasha it is not dead yet) It will be alive while we are. Most of us parents already. So YashaHime is a great present for us.

My number one anime, i just rewatched this a couple of days ago actually and now i want to rewatch it again, no one can ever compare to the love story of this two, not even Kikyo lol. First time i watched this when i was young i remember hating Kikyo cause i felt like Inuyasha love her more than Kagome but now that im older i kinda felt sad for her actually, she loved Inuyasha so much only to be killed thinking the one she loved killed her then she came back to life only to see that Inuyasha already loved someone else, and i also understand that Inuyasha will always love Kikyo she was his first love but Kagome is his true love, the reason he kept going to Kikyo whenever she's im trouble is bc Inu always felt guilty for not being able to protect Kikyo and her dying bc of him so he always tries to be there for her whenever he can not to mention i that guilt is added by the fact that Kikyo died bc of him and yet he's starting to fall for Kagome and wanting to protect her as much as he did Kikyo, Inu feels like he wasnt allowed to be happy bc Kikyo died sad and alone in the hands of Naraku, but at the end of the day he always comes back to Kagome even when Kikyo tried to drag him to hell he was willing to go but when he heard Kagome's voice he instinctively went to her w/o a second thought. It was only when Kikyo died at the end that Inuyasha can also finally move on and stop feeling guilty for her, the anime doesnt really relay Inu's feelings too much for Kagome but in the manga there was a chapter where he clearly stated that whatever he feels for Kagome is diff than Kikyo.
I always thought kagome's love for inuyasha was so much more than that of kikyo's she truly loved him and changed him into a better person while kikyo just used him cause if she really loved loved him she wouldn't have tried to drag him with her she was always so selfish only thinking of herself instead of inuyasha and kagome's feelings and I was always so angry at inuyasha for chasing kikyo when he should've chosen kagome from the start but I'm happy they finally ended up together I always hated kikyo she was so evil she tried to kill kagome and she was killing people just so she could live kagome would've never done any of that because she was such a pure and kind person I felt so bad for her throughout the series over how inuyasha and kikyo mistreated her but at least inuyasha finally comes to his senses and treats her right at the end
I always thought the series would've been so much better if kikyo had never came back to life she was always so psycho and causing problems between inuyasha and kagome but that's just my opinion😅, I also respect your opinion😊

@@kanejshipper also, when Inuyasha and Kikyo where alive, Inuyasha didn't have any friends. Why? He has friends now because of Kagome. Inuyasha didn't LIVE With Kikyo even though they "loved " each other. Naraku even said if they really loved each other it wouldn't have been so easy to deceive them
It seemed like kagome was able to tame inuyasha in ways that even was hard for inuyasha to communicate about. Almost controlled him even more than “sit boy” lol
I find their moments really romantic but everytime Kagome feels Inuyasha’s concern/love for Kikyo, I feel really bad for Kagome. Most girls can relate with Kagome is all lol and that sucks but at least they got a happy ending.
Man Kagome loved Inuyasha in ways Kikyo never could,Kikyo tried to change him,Kagome never asked Inuyasha to change she MADE him change little by little by staying with him, Inuyasha wasn't able to stay with her because Kikyo was his first love but they hadn't a closure to their relationship,it ended suddenly and abruptly,when Kikyo died again this time closing things up with him he was able to move on and finally correspond Kagome feelings,and also Inuyasha felt way more things with Kagome than he would ever be able with Kikyo (he is loyal for him was hard to let it go bc he would feel guilty to stay with Kagome and move on when Kikyo was there even tho she was kinda dead)
After watching the latest episode of Yashahime, I can't wait for the reunion between Moroha and her parents, Inuyasha and Kagome. That episode brought so much tears to my eyes btw 😭

I wonder why kikyou is mentioned in this comment section a lot. Kikyou moved on she made peace with the wold and Inuyasha and Kagome live there life happily ever after. Kagome treasures the memories of Kikyous as person, who is important to both of them know. They are all in peace.
I wished they had made a follow-up series of Inu Yasha and Kagome as main characters instead of their daughters, but they could have been integrated of course. =P

In my opinion he loved both kikyo and kagome . But his true love was kagome because he acts like himself around her , he cared for her and didn't want to lose her She also accepted him like a half demon while kikyo wanted to change him into human I don't hate kikyo but i'm confused " who does inuyasha love more kagome or kikyo ? I hope it was only cause it was kagome not kikyo cause I hated her character but that's just me😅 I'm biased cause I super wanted inuyasha with kagome so I really disliked kikyo cause she always caused problems for them and kikyo was also mean to kagome on different occasions like when she pushed kagome and made her go home or when kikyo tried to get kagome killed when she wanted to come back to life in the earlier seasons I can't remember which ep it was
I honestly don't think so because he's always reminded that Kagome is the one he should protect and always goes back to her. I don't think Kikyo would've known how to calm him either. Kagome did and she cared more for him than Kikyo. She shows it time and time again. She would die for him. She was there for him when Kikyo wasn't. She was never around when he was in danger. Kagome was. She brought out his true strength when she was around him. Anyway, my rant is over lol.
I think this was the only Shounem anime, which had more of a kiss between the couple. Because today's anime is to put some Virgin protagonists full of Harem and not kiss a woman.
