This is the part where i really angry with inuyasha because if koga flirting wiht kagome inuyasha gets so work up but hes hugging and flirting with kikyo .....Thats why i admires kagomes kindhearted...
Yes, he is madly in love with Kagome and wants her by his side. Their feelings are very clear only when Kikyo intervenes and her past is ruined, and Kagome is the one who suffers in the end.
It's such a sad situation. If you think about it, it's like time has stopped for Inuyasha while he was sealed to the tree. Him being together with Kikyo was still fresh to him when Kagome released him. And Kikyo also has feelings for him. It's all a cycle of pain as all 3 of them watch each other suffer.
The amazing twist in their story and the main core of the anime really is that Kagome soul/spirit is Kikyo’s, she wanted to reincarnate as Kagome and that’s why she had the Shikon jewel with her and is the only one who can travel between the 2 ages. I don’t know if you needed all that clues but wanted to let you know if u didn’t☺️ but it’s painful to be lived as humans I mean for Kikyo to see Kagome living what she died to have with Inuyasha. I love this anime sooo much it’s my fav! Loved how you explained their situation!
I first watched Inuyasha when I was still a child and thought it was a typical love story (still loved it tho). I never really understood the love they shared with each other but now that I‘m rewatching it I understand. It reminds me so much of my love and I think it’s crazy how innocent I was just a few years ago. I thought I knew what love was but actually never truly loved someone with all my heart. Now I do and watching Inuyasha and Kagome now makes their love story even more beautiful to me.
That dog guy deeply in love of kagome but he is totaly confused about his real feeling to kagome it’s bcoz kikyo use hypnotism. In kikyo death inuyasha said thats kikyo is the first woman he cared for but he can’t protect her. Kikyo knows that kagome is more precious in inuyasha heart,
I understand that people have sympathies, I do. But can you stop for one sec? Kikyo never really got to see the real Inuyasha, never listened to his desires, just trapped him in an obsessive love because she had lost her control over the miko powers. The reason for why she hates Kagome? Cause she is the better version that she could never be because of her stupid selfishness. Why didn’t she healed herself and try to find out what happened with Inuyasha???she just made the drama sealing him and stupidly ended her life. That means: not wise, selfish, weak, judgmental and not in love! Who will quit so easily after all? Kagome didn’t! And that’s why Inuyasha said what he said in the end❤
100% AGREE✨🙌🙌 kikyo and inuyasha never fully trusted each other and never would have even if they ended up together in the beginning because they both had the same problems. the type of love they had was like friendship or camaraderie as they were both broken and lonely and just needed someone to stick with. From the original manga they hardly knew anything about each other (cuz they didnt trust each other) and just didnt want to be alone anymore. and because they were both broken in the same way/ had the same problems, kikyo wouldve never been able to ‘heal’ inuyashas heart and insecurities like kagome did. its because of who kagome is as a person that she was able to heal inuyasha. ❤️
Is it not kagome the reincarnation of kikyo, kikyo only came back alive coz there is this crazy old woman who bring her alive with something like curse or whatnot

I really can't say that because kikyo has her own insecurity she has got a lot of lives to protect and the burden is huge but the face that she doesn't know how to manage that really kills her look
I used to hate kikyo at first but she’s one of the most tragic characters…flawed but still a good character…it’s inuyasha that’s two timing…I feel sad for Kagome at the same time for kikyo as well… inuyasha needs to figure it out first instead of playing with two peoples emotions
