Inuyasha: “Alright that’s enough disgruntled exes for one day.” Kikyo: “Hi..” Inuyasha: “FUCK.” *kagome just starting to blow up with raging questions and accusations*
I like how they captured the voices on this one. Like, they sound pretty similar to their actual voice actors in a way. It’s been years since I’ve watched this and it’s STILL wonderful. :D
i still reference this nearly 12 years later, god damn. i'm surprised at how little views this has- it was such a formative video for me as a young weeb obsessed with inuyasha, and at the time i was sure everyone had seen it because it was so funny. then again, that was back in the day when you'd watch anime at 240p in three parts on youtube, or you'd go to those buggy anime sites that had a cap of 72 minutes a day so you could only watch a few before it'd lock you out, and it would always happen right in the middle of a really good scene. god, those were the days ;-;
My boyfriend just started watching Inyuasha, we finally hit season 2 so I could show him this. After one week of searching various things, I finally found it. I’ve never related to a animation more than now and he fucking died while watching this. Thank you
I always thought this was the most popular video on RU-vid when I first found it in middle school and the fact that it's not at 10K views yet is a fucking disservice.
After watching the dubbed version of Yashahime I came here and realize these voices sound better than the original voice actors revising there roles In Yashahime
Nope, Jaken was her father figure, Sesshoumaru was an 18/19 teenage with an attitude and daddy issues. Sesshoumaru ignoring Rin most of the time Jaken was the one actually playing games with her, scolding her when she misbehaved, eating meals with her, yet Sesshoumaru gets all the credit? "Sesshoumaru loves Rin but he's a demon he just loves differently. Jaken was more of Rin's father figure" actual statement from Rumiko Takahashi, " Kagura's love for Sesshoumaru was unrequited, he just felt pity for her, Kagura's death scene was way overplayed", another statement from Rumiko Takahashi. Their actual relationship was "save and to be saved". This was an misunderstanding from about 30-40% the USA fans, the rest of the world knew that 8/9 year old Rin and 18/19 year old Sesshoumaru were just good friends, there were many hints dropped during the series and after Kaeda adopted Rin it was confirmed by Rumiko Takahashi that many, many years later adult Rin and Sesshoumaru met up and fell in love.
@@anaserratails4892 nope Jaken was Rin's father figure, confirmed by Rumiko Takahashi and shown more towards the end of Inuyasha final act, You do known Sesshoumaru was 18/19 teenage and Rin was 8/9, and Rin was adopted by granny Kaeda at the series end?
@@mariaocean2165 my girl, Rumiko said that Sess is a hogosha to Rin which means parental figure. Also Jaken was never a father to Rin, the guy always was being shitty to her and etc which you gotta have some problems if you think that's parenting lol. It's impossible for Rin to be that age with the whole timeline and Rumiko wasn't part of any of the Yashahime writing, it was Sumisawa and even he said it was a non canon thing and the manga is also an "AU non canon". Also, I never mentioned Kagura or any other ship so I don't see the point for bringing that up. If u like the ship, you do you but get the hell away from me.
@Ana Serra Tails That's actually not accurate. The word hogosha, doesn't mean parental figure, it's means protector, or guardian..someone who protects/defends. However, I agree that it's still weird for someone to later get with someone that protected you when you were a kid, even though he wasn't a parent or father to Rin. Imo, that's like Kikyo getting with Kohaku as she protected him(weird asf). Also, Sumisawa never said it wasn't canon. However, many fans don't accept it as canon because he wrote it, and not Rumiko (although she did supervise scripts). I personally don't consider it canon because of this. It's a matter of personal opinion whether you consider to be so or not as she did have some involvement.
