I think when she says the spell in Spanish and in Japanese sounds much better, cuz she in neither they say sit boy, in the Spanish she says “ABAJO!” Which means “DOWN” and I love the way the voice actress says it and in Japan she just says “SIT” that I love but “sit boy” sounds so..awkard
Reason why "sit boy" sounds so weird is because in Japanese the word for sit is two syllables. So in order to match the way her mouth is moving, they made it "sit boy" in the English dub
"Osuwari" sounds way more dignified in Japanese. Kagome does it with AUTHORITY, that's for sure. And when she uses multiple "OSUWARI" at one time, you know she's pissed.

Honestly, they should’ve made it so the impact of Inuyasha’s landing depended on how angry and how much conviction was in Kagome’s voice. Like if she did it calmly then he just falls over or something but if she’s angry then yeah he hits the ground real hard. It would also be nice if they had her explain why she’s angry at him considering the amount of times she did and he’s confused as to why she did it. Communication is important in relationships especially in ones where romantic feelings are eventually formed. Then their entire relationship would be a lot less abusive even if it’s used for comedy a majority of the time.
they’re not always good at setting it up. The good thing about the manga is that there’s exposition and internal dialogue. I think the screen writers wanted more comedy and added more sits than the manga. But Over time he did actually change a bit. She didn’t say it as often as she could have, in the manga and even in the anime I think.
That's exactly how it's supposed to be in the manga, actually! The command is only supposed to press him to the ground and doesn't hurt him unless stacked, it being this brutal and creating craters on the ground is an anime joke.
The beads wouldn’t be needed, since the wearer needs to have demon energy for it to work. Miroku once has suggested the possibility of doing that if Inuyasha ran off to confront Kagura, but the idea was ultimately abandoned. Although it was never clarified: since Kagome never used it on Human Inuyasha nor does it ever dawn on him to remove the necklace while in that form.
Kagome was already competing with herself, with Kikyo involved. Now, she has to worry about her own Sit commands throwing InuYasha into the arms of the floor!
Of all words to chose from...."Sit" was the first thing to come to mind. If I was in her position..."Ah shit" might be the first word as it was a stressful situation.
The sit commands are funnier in japanese I will admit 😂. The VAs noises leading up to the command is what’s funny. Inuyashas cries of pain are funnier in Japanese too. lol
How the hell he would love always pissed girl, who is hurting him where she "feels" angry. She's always angry. She even can't talk. For her only one good way to solution a quarrel is "sit". Why the heck he just didn't run away from her?
@@NN-jv9py I know that this is comedy, but for me, maybe not for others, after a long time as they started get closer to each other, her behavior changed from comedy to annoying. On the start okay, but later I was like "again? Really?". After long time each joke won't be funny anymore and you'll be tired from hearing it again, and again, and again. And Inyasha should be tired too.
@@chuudazai3963 I understand how you feel considering how long the anime was she didn’t use it as much there was a few few times that she used for no real reason. But most the times was because he would got to see kikyo, get jealous and accuse her of stuff, harass someone, be an a$$hole to people, hurt people, destroy something, save him from battle, and (arguably if it’s justified) be really rude to her.
I thought that too, but like all shows, the characters are forced to deal with one another. Plus her shattering the Shikon Jewel shard pretty much kickstarted the whole adventure (albeit through mutual gain).
That's the only thing that sucked about Inuyasha is that Inuyasha had to simp for kagome. It's a shounen show but not a true shounen show, as they had Pokemon elements to it. Sesshomaru was more of the lone wolf type. It would have been badass had they done that with Inuyasha. Kagome prevented Inuyasha from being like hokuto no ken. She kind of ruined the show. What's the point of having kikyo if kagome is the main love interest of Inuyasha. Only Hokuto no Ken did it perfectly when Kenshiro lost Yuria in Hokuto no Ken 2 in the beginning Kenshiro truly felt pain. If Inuyasha was written like that it would make more sense. The fact that kikyo was resurrected due to plot armor made kagome useless. It would have been much better if Inuyasha told kagome that she reminded him of kikyo and kikyo is explored through flashbacks. The sit command is unnecessary but good for kids. But I think absolutely unnecessary as the show is very violent and too dark for children. Even as an adult some scenes make me cry or turn my head the other way especially when sesshomaru impaled Inuyasha and you could see sesshomaru's hands exiting inuyasha's back. Yipes!! That was most gory scene I have seen in anime. The sit command gimmick would work great for Pokemon for Misty to use on Ash. Not for a very violent dark show like Inuyasha.
The only good thing about this "sit" compilation is that it affirms everything I loathe, hate, and despise about InuKag as a whole. The same thing I can say about my disgust and loathing against Kagome Higurashi because she is nothing more than a petty, whiny, insolent woman-child.
@@haisewaffle2733 Her age is no excuse for being abusive. And, no, I don't need therapy. How would you like it if a guy did the same thing Kagome does to Inuyasha to you? And don't even give me the whole it's just slapstick excuse because Kagome barely gets any comeuppance for her actions. Slapstick is supposed to have both parties inflicted, not just the receiver. Hence, Kagome sucks.
