I go ahead and click the like button before even watching your videos now. The roundworm egg thing makes me want to wear a Mysterio helmet every time I step outside from now on.

I may have overplayed that information too much. While inhaling B. procyonis eggs is certainly possible, it rarely occurs in humans. It’s definitely an issue for dogs though.

you should come and visit Shasta! not too many reptiles, but still a fun place to find crayfish at. it's basically the only thing I'd want to do.

Another good video, I really enjoy your collecting trips! The small spider on the water was a lycosidae Pirata piraticus not a Dolomedes. I believe Dolomedes are very rare in California and found in only a few locations. Stay safe out there.

I was using ‘fishing spider’ colloquially to describe the spider’s habits. I do realize that it has a taxon affiliation.

@@GeneralApathy our native one is the pilose crayfish. Those are found in the north though. And I live in the desert portion so ours are invasive as well. We have the northern and Louisiana crayfish. (But most people around here just call them crawdads😂)

@@masterbuilderproductions Unsurprising. Most western states have the same issue we do.

So you don't care if you mess with crawfish because they're invasive.... Have you tried eating them to help solve the problem, well, at least reduce their population to manageable numbers? Instead of complaining, throw some in a pot.

Right, him throwing some in a pot is gonna help millions reduce in number. On a scale of 1/1 how stupid are you?

Ur reasoning on not killing or Re- releasing a invasive species may sound sound 2 you, but the law needs no interpretation and is clear what your supposed do with invasive species and what your not allowed to do with them. Way to teach the children to break the law for views. 👍
