This is Alexander Ashcroft giving my report on the ongoing battles and situation of the Alliance. The invasion of the Corporate sector is now well on the way. The battle over Telos was costly, with a good number of fine ships going down. But the Home Fleet held strong and in the end the enemy lost way more than we did. Nearly their entire fleet gone. While they are trying to recover, we have pushed in on Telos and later Mirial. Our resistance was that of the ESPO, the armed militerized corporate owned police force, and it shows. They are used to rioters and uprisings needing to be put down. Put up agasint well armed Alliance forces and tactics they crumbled. They could only stick to standing near Turbolaser towers for protection, but that tactic wasn't anything we couldn't blast though after having so much experience fighting on and though many different worlds all over the Galaxy. On the Empire Front: It would seem that the Imps have been pushing hard at both Gerrenthum and Sullust lately. Both attempts have been turned back, and another appearance of a Beletor class. Where do thhey keep getting the funding to make these on end? Our front line is holding solid for now, It is with hope that the Corporate Sector will fall soon enough so we can finally take the fight back to the Empire proper. Their attacks might be seemingly reckless, but i don't want to just keep pushing our luck on the matter. (Hey there, loving the series and roleplay so far, if you ever do a mission that gives you an ISD, I'd love to captain it. But don't feel you need to go out of your way. I want the medical staff to run a triage center in our side hangers. Make space for the wounded and the survivors of the Liberty we lost. Integrate them as well. As for spare parts, don't worry because I have contacts on junkyard planets that would supply us the needed parts. *All officers nodded to her and got dismissed after* Katarina: *sighs in relief* Good thing we didn't lost all. *A Few Hours Later...* Katarina: *sees the CSA Armada with the Radar and sighs sadly* RSFD Captain: Something wrong madam? Katarina: Yeah- They're using Republic Ships. RSFD Captain: And you are sad because? Katarina: Have to destroy them. So sad to see the CSA using them. Pre Empire saw massive militarization and modernization of Star Destroyers. Republic War Torn ones were either sold to the CSA or went to junk yards. RSFD Captain: I see. Katarina: It is nostalgic though~ I want your men to go out after the battle in LAAT/is and U-Wing Gunships. Take the scrap of the destroyed Venators and Acclamators as well. See if anything left can be salvaged for The Empress. Take a couple of Engineer Teams as well hmm~? RSFD Captain: Yes madam. ---- (1:30) *In between the episode, Katarina Du Couteau escorted by her RSFD Squads and a handful of Rebel Marines plus Negotiators landed on the Hapes Planet itself to negotiate Shipyard Owners to open up to the Rebel Alliance. After a few days, Katarina along with other Rebel Negotiators were able to strike a contract/deal that lets the Alliance Navy to use their Warships at the cost of Credits and Reparations. The Alliance Navy would buy Hapen Warships, Reparations for any damage done to the Shipyards and in return grants access to build said Warships. It was sent up to Alliance High Command to await further instructions.* *Meanwhile, Katarina's contacts have made it through. Thanks to this, the Empress is repaired back to Full Operational Status. Having Katarina salvage scraps and parts from the previous battles, she has acquired a few metric tons that is used for repairs and other projects.* Katarina: *overseeing repairs and seeing Rebel and Republic Holdout engineers working together; smiles at this* Rebel Officer: Captain, all signs are green and ready. The Empress is battle ready. Katarina: Good. We need to be ready at a moments notice. Rebel Officer: Yes Captain. *bows and leaves* (39:55); Katarina: Let the Mon Cala cruisers advance forward. We're here as Fire Support. (40:41); Katarina: All gun batteries fire! Long Range Turbo Lasers fire forward, take out those Dreadnought-Classes. Gunnery Officer: On it! Rebel Starfighter Officer: Awaiting orders captain. Katarina: ARC Squadrons will stay around the Empress. V-Wing squadrons intercept. Once we achieve fighter superiority the V-Wings will escort the ARCs to strafing runs. Rebel Starfighter Officer: Right. *relays information* (41:59); Katarina: Wow, Recusant-Class Light Destroyers. Broadside batteries open fire! *All broadside batteries begins to switch targets* (45:45); *The Venator's alarm is blaring* Republic Head Engineer: Captain! We're at 25% Hull! Katarina: Continue making field repairs. Admiral, we're getting battered out here. I have no choice but to initiate a tactical retreat. All available fighters screening duties for the Empress.
