Hey, it's been a while. I like this band very much.
Guitar tab, guitar preset and signal chain info : bit.ly/keo-ia-ap
Gear :
- Ibanez RGD71 ALMS-BAM
- Tuning : 7 string drop E1, pitched down 1 semitone in my DAW to reach drop D#1.
- Strings : D'addario NYXL1164 (7 string set), but switched the 2 lower strings for .60 and .70.
- Neural DSP Nameless Suite with Bogren Digital IRs (Downtuned IR Pack).
- Focusrite Scarlett 2i2.
- DAW : Presonus Studio One 5.
- Canon EOS700D but MAN I can't get its videos to look sharp, I suck at this.

I do not believe my eyes dude. Not to mention my ears exploded by the prefectness of your playthrough. I wish I could be half as good as you. That would be a dream come true. This tranck is my second fav on the album btw. Feels underrestimated and also feels powerful and heartbreaking at once.

Hey dude, thanks! The 1 semitone pitch down was done in my DAW (Studio One 5). You can select an event and pitch it from -24 to +24 semitones. Down to -4 or -5 semitones sounds alright but further down and the guitar tone will sound too weird with less definition in the high mids.Pretty sure every DAW has that functionality and there surely are some cheap/free plugins lying around to achieve this. Hope it was helpful !

Hiya mate! I plug my Ibanez into a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 and then I've got a little fx chain with 'a few' plugins, with Neural DSP Nameless, compression, eq and a bit of widening. One guitar hard panned on the left and another on the right, also. You can check out the link in description, everything is detailed there with the tab :) One of these days I'll do a walkthrough for it, stay tuned !

Hey dude, thanks a lot ! You'll find every detail about that particular tone from the link in description ;) From what I saw there, I used the 1st IR (bongerballen) and the one called doomsauce ! And the Neural DSP Nameless tone preset is in the li k as well. Hope it helps!

Ha bien vu, le tapping était pas sur le pdf, je viens d'update le fichier dans le dropbox, normalement c'est réglé ! J'ai tellement galéré à le transcrire, si ça se trouve Keaton le joue pas du tout comme ça haha

Did you have any problem setting up your focusrite interface? Do you track with direct monitoring? I'm trying to play into my focusrite and have the output go from a standalone (bias/JSTtones) to my speakers and I can't get my latency under 4.1ms? Stuff online is saying to use direct monitoring to send the signal back to the interface and then to the speakers, but does that mean I won't hear the effects I'm using in the standalone? I'm wondering if playing through a DAW can offset the issues, but can't figure it out

Hey man, I did not have any issues setting up my focusrite, although you can check the standalone amp sim input settings. That's where I optimized my latency. And I track without direct monitoring, sort of. What I usually do is that I track directly in my DAW without monitoring, but I still have my standalone neural dsp on the side so that I can hear what I play.

at 1:59, how do you get that sound? ive come back to this video so many times to try and figure it out and i dont know what you do! is it a harmonic?

Hey dude, so at 1:59 the first note is played normally and the second one can be played either as a normal note as well or as a natural harmonic on the 24th fret. I prefer playing the harmonic because the note can last longer without having to keep the finger on the neck. Hopefully I was clear enough :)
